Why did they create DDR solo?
Hey when I went to a mall I searched for a DDR machine in the arcade and what I found was DDR Bass Mix Solo. I wasn't very experienced with that 6-paneled dance pad machine, because I only got used with the regular 4-panel pads. Well, I only tried some 3-footers at first (to get the hang of it) and then move on to 4's, then 5's, until I failed Hysteria.
It was totally different from 4-panels to 6-panels. First of all there were less 8th steps and almost no 16ths inside. Secondly it was confusing recognizing the patterns of the dance pad, maybe because of the upright and upleft steps. DDR Solo has long been hidden from me until I had SM.

Yes there is. There's a Solo Bass Mix near me. You get to choose between four and six panel.
