Re: TWG Turbo XXIIIIIIII 10 AM/10 PM
P much that. Pocketing someone basically means trying to get someone to townread you as a wolf. "Having someone in your pocket", etc.
And I don't really know what more you want other than I feel that was way too early to read into that Xel post (and I don't know what InD has to do with this), and you trying to poke at Subaru for it was some low-hanging fruit as - no offense Subaru - going after the weakest player, as a wolf, is a decent strategy if you're looking to build town cred. |

Should probably clarify that my face swelled up; not my tooth. That'd be terrifying.
Almost as terrifying as my WOOLOO |

Re: TWG Turbo XXIIIIIIII 10 AM/10 PM
yeah, that. maybe someone will come in and argue you can do it as town too to appeal to people you think who should read you particularly well, but there's a connotation with the word
& yeah if you asked me where potential pocketing is in this game, ignoring ones i could be involved in i'd def say charu/sunfan |

Re: TWG Turbo XXIIIIIIII 10 AM/10 PM
So most of FG's progression on Charu and Sunfan happened last phase. These are pretty much all of em. She seemed to highly favor a town Charu and didn't like anything against him, starting with her suspicion on sunfan in response to his Charu read early last phase.
Pretty early on in the phase, jumps right into what several people (including sunfan himself) called out as being pretty bad/funky moves by sunfan. If they're partners, she sure was quick to jump on the general game consensus of his bad play Quote:
This^ and this ^ both immediately followed her previous claim that sunfan's tinfoiling on Charu in her chain of spontaneous thoughts. looked to me like distancing at the time, but may also be defense of a partner which ties in to her overall theme of defending Charu this phase Quote:

Ok, I think my actual main ??? about wolf Charu is still the string of setup confusion at start of Day 1

I had another reason where I thought his read of me matched what I'd expect from town Charu, but I don't put much weight in that anymore because his reads of me from the start of the game have all referenced in way or another that one game where he said I "assuaged his ego" as wolf DESPITE that game being a long long time ago and us having played several games together since where he decidedly did *not* act traumatized

To me, picking a player that you feel would be easy to sway (like, a newer player, for example :eyes: ) and asking them a low-hanging fruit question like that is something done to seem like you're trying to stay engaged, and trying to get people to trust you. Like an, "oh this person is interacting with me and is interested in my opinions and judgments! I like this person a lot for wanting to hear me!" Ergo, insta-town read. So you look towny to others for pushing people, and you get read town by the person you ask. And, like I said, it could just be a bad play, but knowing you? I have more respect for your play-ability than to chalk it up fully to that. |
