Music Editing Software Prefs?

I'm seriously liking Sony ACID with some FL Studio 9
Is there any other programs you guys use? and why do you prefer it?

I love the autotune VSTs but i'm not used to ReFX Nexus man its soo damn confusing to me XD

Pretty sure Audacity trumps your lame programs by a couple hundred dollars

If you just want some basic editing of music, just use Audacity. It's free to download.

If you're not going to actually make music, audacity is probably all you will ever need.

different colors for each seperate part!

FL Studio for sure.

I know some crazy Dubstep producers that use it. Banana Bomber/Grumblex, Widelows, and Vylex all use FL Studio.

Pick your poison. If you already have a preference though, there's no reason to ask or switch to another. All workstations and editors are just as capable of "editing" audio. No reason to go all out...

If I were to suggest an editor (which seems to be what you're asking for), I would suggest Wavosaur over Audacity. There's no reason to even have a DAW if all you're aiming for is editing (as other people stated).

I was joking about audacity since I figured this thread was about advanced audio software like Pro Tools

by the way I love Pro Tools it's the best thing about Macs since
