Im not new to the game but im new to the forums

Hello all

The name is Retox here! I know my Screen name says Hideki but thats back when i was REALLY into anime :P like 5 years ago. Im 17 and Im a DJ and a full time raver. I have been playing this for about 5 years now, and I cant stop

I live in cleveland, OH and yeah... any questions just ask me

My advice would be to make sure you conform to every thread in a beneficial way and make it a habit of thinking before you post. You have quite a few years under your belt. Welcome to the forums!

Sup retox. Did you ever play SMO? I think I saw someone named Hidekiloves or something, not sure if it was you.

Anyways, intrigued to hear the DJ part. My close friend is a DJ, his turntablism is really good but he's brushing up on his production skills in college as a degree. What do you mix/produce in general?

Full time raver haha. I gotta get a new job, mine is kinda low pay, so I'm going to have to save up for the summer raves

Edit: I forgot to ask, how are the Ohio raves? Any good ones out there? I'm in the new england area, so we have some decent ones, but you gotta look for them at times.

Dude New england has so many awesome events. I know all the promoters in the NE region of the US so :P you have Mario Party 3 comming up. I wish i could go but its 18+.

My turntableism isnt so hot. Im focusing on mixing, more than scratching but A-trak dose alot of turntableism in his sets and he mixes eletro house.

The raves out here are pretty good. We had a bit of a hardcore scene going but its kinda dying. There isnt much but a good buddy of mine is doing a bi-monthly event in akron. Im going to be spinning at the july show (as an ode to my 18th) you should come out and see me spin sometime

and I have not played SMO :P and I dislike my screen name :P i wish i could change it XD but it reminds me of my old otaku days

Nice man. Like I said, money prevents me from going all the time, but I'm glad I get to go to some. I should be landing a higher paying job soon, I submitted a resume to a new company that just opened up in the area.

Yea, my friend mixes, but I like to admit his turntablism is way better. He won't admit that his mixing skills are kind of amateur haha. But he has scary good scratching skills, considering how little experience he has. All he needs is to play at that one somewhat big rave. It's all about making connections, I'm sure you know. He's definitely branching out though.

Dude, tell me your name haha. I'll go in the admin panel and change it for you if you'd like. I usually don't, but changing a name once after having it for years won't bother me. Give me the exact screen name (or member page from our site), and give me the exact name you want it changed to. The password will stay the same.

I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty funny. It's like he's seen FFR go from small to big to shut down to already up for awhile without ever knowing what was going on. I would've at least checked the forums to see why certain things were happening with the game haha.

Welcome to the forums! Im in the same boat but recently ive been pretty active. I played ffr for about 2 years, soley to play the game. The past few months ive been trying to get acquanted with the community. As with any game, they get better having friends and peers.

It's not just ANY tournament that you have to enter to get the token. It's an official tournament hosted and run by the staff of the site. Not only that, but you have to place in the top 8 of your division, which involves much fierce competition.

Sadly, there hasn't been one in quite a while, a matter that has left some people becoming quite resentful.
