K I'm bumping this but to ask a question, the thread has lots of views but very few comments... is that because the subject matter is off-putting or is it just bad or what?

It's not bad. It's confusing. Maybe it's an inside joke, I just don't get it.

No it's a really interesting short story but your right about the topic being a bit unsettling...dangit, now every time I play manhunt I'm gonna think about this.

The poem is intended to show how sometimes, random terrible things happen and there's nothing we can do about it. It also tells the different sides of a tragedy.

Each stanza is from a different point of view, in reverse chronological order (hence the numbering), if that helps.
