DDR for PC
Holy Crap, have any of you played this one?
I got it at my local Fry's and it's very interesting, yet not as good as the others. The game consists of only 40 songs and a third of them suck. It has 40 characters, but really, who in their right mind needs 40 characters? Modes:single, 6-panels, double, Versus Anyway, Non-stop, Endless(trust me, it ends in about an hour), workout mode. Plus, there's a lesson mode with the girl dancing. Unfortunately there's 21 lessons. The cool thing is that you can post your highest scores online. The only thing keeping this game going is the custom step builder. That and the song Midnight Blaze. Sigh, the only hard part about this game is finding a Pad for Pc. Which I have done. The only use I can think for this game is if you're on a flight or in computer class. I'd recommend just going to your local arcade and paying the 50 cents. Or just downloading Dance With Intensity. Still, this game is fun for those who don't have a playstation or want to bring DDR to school. I'd give this game 7 out of 9 feet |

I have heard of the DDR on the PC, which is alright, but the DDRs in the arcades and on the consoles are better. I got my copy of DDR for the PC off of Kazaa for free, not 40 dollars, what a scam.

Yeah, basically anyone who really wanted DDR PC when they could just have SM or DWI has already pirated it. I've found PC pads at the local Babbages or you could just get them offline. The song list is really weak in my opinion on PC. I can live with Konamix over PC. In other news, there has been a unofficial announcement of a PC follow-up entitled "Ultramix." No other information is known, I guess.

Ah, yes. I must agree that Konamix is better than this version (DDR USA). Ultramix? It better be better than DDR USA if they want people to buy it. Or, get it off Kazaa. They need to put like 100 songs on it to make it any good.
Oh, and mr. Xslash, I bought the game for 10 bucks and at the time thought it as a good deal. Other places may be selling it for 40 but not where I got it. You might have thought 40 because you as well can not read. Just because it has 40 songs and 40 people doesn't mean its 40 bucks. Give me proof damnit! |

While it did originally reatil for $39.99, I'd imagine the price has dropped since its release.

It is definately not worth the money buying DDR for the computer cause....
1. Less songs. 2. Less songs=less fun. 3. I want some cheese. 4. DWI and SM are so easy to customize. 5. DDR for PC=You just got it to waste money. 6. There aren't any originals that other people make. 7. With DWI/SM, you can just get the songs you like. 8. DDR for PC only lets you use the songs provided. 9. GO TO THE ARCADE AND SPEND THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THE GAME WAS ON THE DDR MACHINE CAUSE IT'S BETTER!!! 10. As I said before not worth the money. |
