The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
I'm sure most of you know how much controversy has been created after Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. What are your views/opinions on the topic? Should it be banned from schools? What was Twain trying to get across to his readers?

Re: The Adventure's of Huckleberry Finn
Twain was trying to get across the American way of life in Huck's adventures and society.
I think we all need to remember that the word that is so controversial today was nothing other than commonplace in Twain's time. Seriously, what are they teaching you people in school these days? The Adventure's of Huckleberry Finn is an American classic. :l |
