Hello! Welcome to the new FFR ranking system for the top active players.
There are a few new things that are implemented now, please take the time to read the notes and how this system works.

How this system works:
This system is now run off of a point system. The point system works just as it looks:
- A set amount of points, (1) being the least and (7) being the most, is assigned to a 48 song list that has been chosen as the requirements for making a tier.
- The tiers are still split into 4 Tiers, with the requirements being:

Tier 1: Tier one requires a player to reach at least 200 points from this list.
Tier 2: Tier two requires a player to reach at least 100 points from this list.
Tier 3: Tier three requires a player to reach at least 60 points from this list.
Tier 4: Tier four requires a player to reach at least 30 points from this list.

With this point system, it now allows a definite standard for requirements.
It also allows the ranking of people among tiers. Simply, the person with more points will be ranked higher than the other. For example:

If...
Billy has 36 points
Jill has 39 points
Mark has 55 points
Mike has 31 points
Joan has 36 points

Then the list would look like this:

Tier Four:
1. Mark (55)
2. Jill (39)
3. Billy (36)
3. Joan (36)
4. Mike (31)

The songs that have been chosen are songs we feel cover all abilities and difficulties. The point system is designed like this:
- 7 points are given out only on the most difficult songs that are the most difficult to reach the requirement.
- 6 points are given out on songs that are very difficult to reach the requirement.
- 5 points are given out on songs that are semi-difficult to reach the requirement.
- 4 points are given out on songs that are difficult to reach the requirement.
- 3 points are given out on songs that are moderately difficult to reach the requirement
- 2 points are given out on songs that are moderate to easy to reach the requirement
- 1 point is given out on songs that are relatively easy to meet the requirement

When I use words such as "the most difficult" or "relatively easy" I am only basing this off of the song list. There are certain expectations we must expect, seeming that if this didn't require some skill to be accepted into Tier 4, then it wouldn't be the "Top Players".

Notes:
- This list will be comprised of active players only. If you become inactive for awhile, there will be a red star placed next to your name. By inactive, I mean not posting, playing, or bragging about your scores. Stars work like this:
*- Inactive for 2 weeks.
**- Inactive for a month.
***- Inactive for more than 2 months, and you will be removed.
This means, if you still play and only browse the forums or look around from time to time, and you see that you have 2 or even 3 stars next to your name, you better post scores or otherwise you will be removed.

The Song List and Requirements:

This is the new song list that has been put together, along with its requirements and points.
Notes:
- All songs are Full Combo's, or FC, unless otherwise stated.
- All of the numbers that are not in parenthesis are referring to goods.
- All scores are meant without averages and boos. If you recieve a score with averages or boos, then here's how it will work:
-1 Average in your score is equal to 2 goods.
-1 Boo in your score is equal to 1 good.
For example:
If you get a score on the song 20031023, and you have 2 goods, 1 average, and 1 boo, then you would have a total of 5 goods.
Another example:
If you get a score on the song Silence, and you have 19 goods, 3 averages, and 4 boos, then you would have a total score of 29 goods.

There are certain scores that will not count or will not be tolerated. They are as such:
- If you recieve a score with more than 20 boos.
- If you missed a note.
- If you have hit a secret arrow.
- If you have cheated.
Cheating will not be tolerated. If you are caught cheating, you will be removed from the list permanently. This includes:
- Using any trainer programs.
- Using any type of hacking programs.
- Hitting secret arrows.
Hitting 1 secret arrow by mistake is alright, it happens from time to time, but if you are caught with more than 1 score that has them then that is considered cheating, and you will be removed permanenly as well.

As for ranking, we will be working on this as soon as possible. It will be tedious, considering we have to take everyone from the last thread, look up their scores, and calculate their totals. Of course you are more than welcome to calculate your own score, but if we find out that you are saying something fake, then expect to be spoken to.

EDIT) now looks fine. 60 is okay for PA score on RM.

No need for average restriction since 1 average is just counted as 2 goods.

Oh and I moved Pants to a 7, and I switched around evil approaches. I'll go look at yours now.
