A Simple and Unorthodox Unofficial Tournament
The Simple and Unorthodox Unofficial Tournament is officially over! Thanks to all of you who participated!
Winners: Elite: Loyal2Death - Credits Sent! Veteran:Tasselfoot - Signature Made! Novice:travman301 - Avatar Pending Please PM me or post in this thread to claim your prize! Songs: Elite: Caprice (Classical) Veteran: Ruins (Misc) Novice: Let Mom Sleep (Funk) Tiebreakers: Elite: One Minute Waltz (Classical) Veteran: Molto Vivace (Classical) Novice: Classical Insanity (Classical) Scores can now be submitted through this thread. Red font means that you're out. Should have said this earlier, but I'll say it now. I will update this post with scores as I receive them. An (AAA) next to your name indicates that you got the highest possible score for your song. A number in parentheses {ex. (3)} indicates the number of goods that you got. A row of numbers in parentheses {ex. (2-1-0-1)} indicates the number of goods, averages, misses, and boos that you got, unless otherwise stated. {ex. (234p-12-4-1-9-100c)} Also, you may send in scores multiple times, but I'll only update the latest one that I receive, so make it a good one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the Simple and Unorthodox Unofficial FFR Tournament! This is the first time I've ever run a tournament, but hopefully it won't go too badly. Anyone may sign up, as long as you aren't banned and have played at least 50 games of FFR. Each round will last approximately three days, with an extra day added in case of a tie. In that time, your goal will be to play the main song for that round and acheive as high of a score as you can to advance to the next round. Each round will be free-for-all, with the bottom scorers of each division being eliminated. In the event that two or more people are facing elimination, they will have to play the tiebreaker song for that round, and submit it before the end of the round. If there are ties between the tiebreaker song, whoever sent their score in first will move onto the next round. You may only submit scores on songs that were obtained during that particular round. Tiebreaker songs are included, so feel free to save a score on your tiebreaker song before it is announced that you may need it. However, submitting a score that was acheived before the start of the round will get you disqualified. Also, any form of cheating, such as using secret arrows, hacking, etc., will get you disqualified. Submissions should be sent to me by taking a screenshot of your score after playing the song and sending it either by private message or email at thestalwartsky@gmail.com. You can also post them in this thread, if you wish. To take a screenshot: 1. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. 2. Go into Paint, Photoshop, or another image program, open a new document, and hit Ctrl-V. Your screenshot will appear. 3. Save the screenshot on your computer as an image file (.jpeg, .bmp, .png, etc.). 4. Go to an image hosting site, such as www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com, and upload the screenshot from your computer. 5. Send me a link to the screenshot via PM or e-mail. There will be three divisions in this tournament, and each will play songs in the following difficulty ranges: Elite: Very Challenging <-> For Guru's Only Veteran: Difficult <-> Challenging Novice: Easy <-> Tricky You may sign up for any division you choose, unless I strongly feel that it would be better to put you elsewhere. This is the round breakdown for the tournament for each division. There will be five rounds, and the numbers indicate the number of people at the start of each round, starting with Round 1: Elite: /2 Veteran: /2 Novice: /2 Lastly, prizes! The 1st place finishers of each division will receive: Elite: A custom wallpaper made by yours truly, with your own specifications*, OR 5,000 Credits. Veteran: A custom signature image made by yours truly, with your own specifications*, OR 2,500 Credits. Novice: A custom avatar made by yours truly, with your own specifications*, OR 1,000 Credits. *Although I'm getting better with Photoshop, there's a fair chance that you may not like what I make even though you gave me the specifics. If this is the case, you may opt to receive the credit prize or perhaps we could negotiate something. The two finalists in each division will receive an honorable mention in my signature for two weeks. That should be it, unless I realize that I forgot something and add it later. Good luck and happy FFRing to you all! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ELITE: xjohnieboyx vs Loyal2Death (54-1-0-0) ------------ Tayfun bill_clinton lumphoboextreme hoochan stoners_netname smartdude1212 argo15 brianpage concertm rel89 VETERAN: Tasselfoot (6-0-0-1) vs lXD ------------- windsurfer-sp obie32one flashMaster10 Vote4Nixon sk8mastr XPYRYMYNT WitchoftheSand Matrixdude goat6707 Loot You brothaice FRANKKK rade0110 wickedawesomeful NOVICE: DrugstoreCowboy (1) vs travman301 (AAA) ---------------- ego jugglinguy rshadow8888 ShadowSwordsman Jtehanonymous u84 paramountgymnst Roxas7 LLaMaSaUceYup the_truth_of_lotr Evascythe g4z33b0 marioGP87 soulofcerberus
