i suspect "snaplinks" !! it will not support FF3 so i downloaded some patch a guy did from the add-on download page

damn its like the best add-on there is but i guess i have to give it up

Do you still have that add-on? Maybe you can check the add-ons page for that add-on and see if it says it's compatible with Firefox 3.

If it was installed on FF2 when you switched to FF3, then you will automatically be alerted when it is updated to be compatible with FF3. I just recently had this happen with one of my add-ons, ImageBot.

Highlight the url and drag it to an empty space on the tab bar.
