Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I quite like the new 99 Bricks sequel, finally a flash game sequel which adds onto it's original concept effectively.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Yup. I spoke with the dev about it the other day... The puzzle levels are awesome. Wish there were more than 5 of them. Could do a full game with them... 40 or 50 puzzle levels.
The new bricks are cool, but they totally mess with me head. I have no clue how to work with them for proper tetris strategy. The wall/height/no-drop levels are straight forward... and get a bit tedious/repetitive. I'm a huge fan of the fact that the levels are static. Having random levels kills the skill a ton. Working with the same set of pieces in the same order allows you to create a strategy and game plan and improve what you're doing from attempt to attempt.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I actually preferred the levels to be random. :P But I agree they have a lot more potential with more puzzle levels and stuff, looking forward to another.
EDIT: 100% complete. Tower 6 was a bitch to get 70/70 on:

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I've been hanging out in FGL Chat recently. Retarded european flash developers > retarded random 14 year olds.
And canabalt is, meh. The damn glass windows are frickin' hard as balls... everything else in the game is piss easy. So it's just a matter of getting a good run on the windows (and good location), and you'll get 5000. Took me a long ass time, but when I got it, I was consistently getting 2500+ every run.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I've gotten bored with Kong lately. Nothing's challenging anymore. Maybe one of these days I'll go on another badge-whoring session and get everything I'm missing.

Yeah, tried to hang out in IiN yesterday, but it was just LJ who doesn't even remember me. I was disappointed when there was no Rushy, Nsane, y0tta, etc. there. =(

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I'm REALLY enjoying this game. It's not on Kong but it's very similar in the games we play:
Braid Get it. It's on Steam right now for $4.99 (weekend deal, normally $14.99). It came out on Xbox Live Arcade a while ago and it's been on the PC since April. Puzzle-platformer that takes time-manipulation to another level. Well worth the $5. http://store.steampowered.com/app/26800/ |

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Over the past day, I've gotten a ton of badges that I had neglected out of laziness. You know what that means!
REVIEW TIME! Crush the Castles Players Pack: The game's really easy except for Hatsworth Castle. I wasted so much time trying to three-bomb it and never succeeded. I wound up just beating the game so I could get the single big-bomb option, and it took out Hatsworth first try. FML. Another Small Favor: I had already beaten this game before, so getting through it a second time was quick and painless. Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar: Really easy, fun little game. Vox Populi: Kind of a weird game. Short and easy -- badges followed suit. TTA3: I finally took a deep breath and forced myself to get the badge I was missing on this game by getting 5000 points on Hardcore. Horrible ammo management system, ****ty hit detection, and clunky controls make me want to punt this game in the gall bladder. I died like 4 times before figuring out that all I had to do was select for like three cool weapons and constantly move back and forth so I could pick up guns and ammo. Retarded game. Warfare 1944: Boring game, boring missions. Almost put me to sleep. This version felt nerfed to me and hastily put together. But, whatever, four easy badges. Canabalt: **** windows, all I gotta say. Bunny Charm: Horribly boring -- the same monotonous strategy will get you nearly every badge. Ultimate Crab Battle: **** YEAHHHHHHHHH Toss The Turtle: This game took me a few hours to master in terms of getting all the badges. It's basically one of those "grind for cash and suck dick to get by, but later on you earn so much money that you're spending like fuc" games. The final stretch was annoying. Nuked my way as far as I could and golden-gun-triple-bounced my way to victory (ended up with like 3.5 mil or something, can't remember). Seed of Destruction: What a stupid game. It's practically an Idle game. Easy badges. Pwong 2: Enjoyable -- too easy, though. Hardest part was that damn 90% Accuracy badge, lmao. Cube Colossus: Loki can suck it. Awkward controls, ungh. Didn't take long to get this game finished out, though. Epic Battle Fantasy 2: Did the Minigame right off the bat -- 2000 points for a Medium Badge? You've got to be kidding me. I jumped right into Epic Mode and beat it first try (with help from the guys in the chat in terms of learning what the more important skills were such as Syphon, Revive, etc). The strategy is way too easy (easy in the way Sonny 2 was easy), but it was still enjoyable. It isn't like MM2 where you have to really guard against the destructions of probability and math, but that may be a good thing. Fun game with tight graphics. Agony: The Portal: No idea yet, working on it now. SS MMORPG: Mommy ;-;

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
So I just beat Campaign Mode of Agony. "Agony" is a very fitting name for this sploogedollop of a game. What a boring, monotonous, grindy waste of time that was. I hope the two hard badges are better, but Kong is having some badge issues right now, so I'll just wait till morning.
