Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I want to submit it next batch, I still have work to do on it. The song isn't Vertex Beta, its one of my songs. I'll do my best to put my own originality into it. It's ridiculous (it has some extreme jacks in it), but so is vROFL, so would there be like a special thing for it (e.g. "event")?. I like it so far lol.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
very hard =/= vrofl... vrofl is just wtf dumb arrows go to nothing. If your file is like that then it will be insta-rejected. Hard files have to have good reason to be like they are otherwise you'll get rejected. I'd recommend working on easier projects until you get the hang of filemaking and the judging process.

Well, vROFL is a one time only thing. There won't be another vROFL.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
It would've been vWTF lol. Just kidding, but I did want the file on here, but knowing the way things work here and the reasons why, I highly doubt its existance onf FFR. What if I made a normal version of it then submit the other version later on (like in October)?

There will never be another vROFL. The arrows HAVE to go to something, and can't be wtf hard. Example, hearing a song that should be stepped with Pitch Relevant stream and just making it straight up arrow jacks or something. Just don't even send it. Joke files will just be ignored, seriously. Also, expect a high non-bs FGO in the next batch.

1. no backgrounds.
2. get some clout as an FFR stepfiler before you go off about having one of your files be used as an event 3. get some clout before you consider having "lots" of files on FFR, etc, etc. basically, you just showed up within the past month and are rambling on about things that are beyond you, currently. take baby steps.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
heh lol fluuk was responsible for most of the flaws (read jacks and trills) and we both agree we had to use better patterns. I used quite some bpm changes in {departed} (35 to 280 lol) but it's still on sync. don't expect one like flames of the sky II this time :P
further I have one question that is slightly complicated. I once made a music track using Magix music maker. should I ask magix for permission or would I be able to submit it right away then? if anyone in here ever tried magix you might know why I'm asking this: you only get completely remade samples. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
IIRC songs from Magix would fall under the liscence of "remixing" something: change it up enough and we can use it. That's not exactly a perfect parallel but I think the same laws apply.
