Quick question!
Found awesome song i am working on now tho i have ran into a problem. I have a song where the b.p.m is 135 now i cut that in half to 67.5 to space it out more so the arrows wouldn't be so close together but when i hit a section when i want to start streaming my reds 4ths notes blues half notes and yellow notes are not fast enough for it, and i also dont want to just make a rainbow chart i want to keep it clean, any suggestions? sorry probably a dumb question but i am still learning and yes having fun!

Re: Quick question!
Either stay at 135 BPM and use 16ths; or use 32nds instead of 16ths when you have 67.5 BPM, it's up to you
You can't avoid stepping a song at its full potentional while keeping it "clean" Last edited by Xayphon; 08-5-2011 at 06:26 PM.. |

Re: Quick question!
What Xayphon said.
Basically double the note by its number the lower you decrease the bpm by half.

I can't think of why this would be happening if you update both the .ds and .sm files regularly, unless you have a global offset in SM that makes the offset different between programs. (Other note: If you use a positive offset in SM, that does not translate to ddream, because it does not allow beats before the start of the track. But if you open an .dm in ddream, the notes will appear in the same place.) Quote:

Re: Quick question!
That sounds like a VBR track, transcode it into CBR and stepmania should not go offsync when you start the song in the middle using the editor.
