Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
All of those are sprindex scores. This was a good year, and next one will be even better
#5: Bitch I look like Goku 1.2x AA - 204bpm 24th streams This was an unexpected run, and I did surprisingly good. Now I think I can attempt 1.3x. #4: Spooky Scary Skeletons 89.8% A - 308bpm streams I believe that's a solid score, and I think I can AA it now (or something like 92%) #3: Over the Fullereneshift 1.4x AA - 285,6bpm stamina I chose this score because it was a really hard song, and one of my goals, and I did it very well making it a solid AA. It could've been even better if I didn't fail hard at the last moments of the song. #2: Disregard 1.1x 74.9% - 330bpm streams Okay. I don't believe Disregard 1.0x AA should have it's place in my top scores simply because of my poor accuracy (although I destroyed the first stream). However Disregard 1.1x is good, and I might be able to push it to A. Why isn't it the #1? #1: Massacre 85.9% A - 314bpm long stream It might be weird because Disregard is a better score I believe, but the reason for the first place is that even passing Massacre was my biggest goal for Stepmania, and now I did 86%. My best is 88% but didn't make a screenshot :P I want to make AA soon. You propably cannot recognize those scores but for me they are godlike Also Etienne be ready, I'm going to improve fast this year :P

Disregard 1.1 is way better than a 85 on Massacre imo. I couldn't even come close to passing Disregard 1.1 until a few days ago and I A'd Massacre months ago.
Good shit though, I might have to try some more sprindex and try to push your limits

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
I had a few good scores this year -- let's put it out there.
5. Nowhere - 52p/3g FC: At the time, this was actually a WR, but it got taken away from me pretty quickly. 4. Arcadian - AAAA: This happened to me completely randomly. I had been trying to do it as a joke in the past, and I actually managed to pull it off without even trying. Funny how that works. 3. Staple on Smile - 1/0/0/0: A flag on a 96 on a FFR file. Memorable for being my first and only 96 flag, and not being good enough to get to the finals of the 10th Official FFR tournament. 2. 20031023 - 1p: Self-explanatory. Tried quadding. Didn't get it. Still sick, though. 1. Brute Force - 39p/2g: out of all of the scores that I've gotten, I think this one is still somewhat hard to compete with, which makes me feel good. Perhaps a return is in order. |

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
5. Etude 10-4 Pass: Best pass to date, also first pass of a file in Nuclear Blast 4
4. Vanity Angel AAA: Best AAA to date 3. Marisa Stole the Precious Thing AA: Best AA to date 2. Black Dragon A: This blew me away when I got it 1. Quasar 3g: Funny thing is, I didn't put this on my progress thread because I was waiting for the AAA to blow everyone away...but this is still undoubtedly my best score of 2014 Also worthy of note: Vertex Beta Pass (which would have been on here if I didn't pass Etude last week)

This thread made me change my pants ~13 times already geez
Interestingly enough I didn't get too many quads this year, last year was just a flood of them >_> #5 Only quad I was super thrilled about this year, nerves were no where near Destiny-tier though #4 Most painful miss of 2014 rip teh urn :/ #3 Also pretty close to untouchable, flukes are nice! #2 Not much to say, really hard file to AA #1 Most proud of this one, after so many fails in the past it's nice to finally get it Last edited by Dynam0; 01-1-2015 at 06:40 PM.. |

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
Most of these posts show SM scores, but I don't have impressive any SM scores, so I'll make mine of my FFR achievements.
#5 Staple on Smile -- I am very proud I kept this under 50g even though I have other negative pa counters. #4 The Bird's Midair Heatstroke -- This score, to me, feels like my initiation into D7, even though it isn't an AAA. With more attempts, this could be my first 87 AAA. #3 The Limit Does Not Exist -- First Official Tournament that I played fully through (my D5 badge was one official that I signed up but didn't play any of the songs). This was the benchmark of my improvement, and also the last time I could officially play FFR. #2 grind2 -- Very lucky attempt I must say, but nonetheless impressed at myself for being able to sustain 1g through the entire song, but another "initiation" score into D7. #1 Tie between Final Fantasy Last Battle Festival and Poison of the Earth -- I could not be more proud of myself because of these two AAAs. FFLBF was the only D5 ranged AAA that I had when I was in D5, but I did not have a replay of it due to R^3 not being out and I wasn't active (or couldn't get replays working in standalone). I wanted to get the AAA replay, so on a cold first try, I happened to get it. Poison of the Earth was one of this year's tournament songs for D6, and I tried my absolute hardest on this song and Cold Heart for the AAAs. Both of these scores also mark my two AAAs with the most amount of perfects.

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
5. connect 1986 fluke AA in may, took 5 months to re-AA
4. disregard AA, my original main goal from the beginning of stepmania 3. 2 minute jack AAA, beat dossar's old video and kikokinho Kappa 2. authentic symphony AA random yolo dumps file, I think it's decent 1. perpetuum mobile AA, culmination of a few months of JS training. improvable but I'm done dealing with the bpm shiver/fps drops http://imgur.com/a/jZfbj 2014 scores hope to keep some skill in 2015, good luck everyone

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
Ok here we go
Most of my best accomplishments were from last 2 months because of skillboosts and having started recently. Also got rid of older screenshots.. 5 - Battle of lil' Slugger SDCB: This was really unexpected, I had AAed it with no warmup that same day, so I warmed up and played it again lol 4 - Renai circulation AA: Thought this was impossible for about 2 months until I actually played it lol. 3 - Comsten AA: This AA was one of my major original goals, can't express how happy I felt. 2 - OrBiTal 1.7 AA: This wasn't really one of my main goals but I actually chased this AA for a pretty long time, since I AAed 1.6. got the AA on the very last hold, screamed so loud parents got pissed off lol 1 - Ultrabeatdown Supreme 1.2 AA: This was BY FAR the best score I've ever had, true stamina test and I destroyed it, this was actually the only file that got me super stoked and nervous through pretty much the whole song. Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
#1. This made me actually realise that im somewhat good at the game #2. Insane flukerun, never thought i could get such good cb's, #3. One semi-longterm goal. #4. Pretty basic i thought, until i realised my other runs were allways at 84%~ #5. A long story behind this file. It made me quit stepmania after a really salty grind for this AA

Re: What are your top 5 rhythm gaming accomplishments in 2014?
I got some good MA scores in SM but I haven't accomplished much in FFR. Just trying AAA as much as possible I suppose.
