Hiya Folks
Greetings, everyone! I am Tel, and I've been hanging around the profile chat pretty much all the time. Oh, and working on FCing 1-6, and progressing up as high as I can. (And then picking up AAAs when I can too). I've been playing on R^3, and yeah! I'm coming from a very strong music and rhythm game background, including the "real" DDR. Right now I'm thoroughly scared off by anything >40 or so, but I'm working on it!
So yeah. Hello everyone.

Welcome to the forums! I used to be scared of posting too, but you'll see the atmosphere here is very nice and welcoming. Unless you're a prick. In that case you'll be bashed mercilessly.

Re: Hiya Folks
Welcome aboard!
It takes some time to get better, but trust me, it does happen, so don't ever doubt yourself. I remember back in the day when I thought Flight of the Bumblebee and One Minute Waltz seemed impossible. I grinded out on the songs I could do, and the ones I enjoyed, and that alone was a blast. I think having fun first instead of worrying about accuracy, and then slowly challenging myself to play songs that were out of my skill range, allowed me have fun. Without enjoying the game for the fun of it the first several month, maybe even the first year, I don't think I could have gotten any better or stuck around to get better in the first place. But I am just rambling now, haha. You say that you are an experienced rhythm game player, so it's most likely not something new to you whatsoever. Have fun, and enjoy your stay :P |
