If you sign this, I will love you forever. It is a petition to get an unedited, uncut version of the movie Hackers released. Even though the technology is completely outdated and stupid, it is still an amazing movie. Please sign! |

RE: Hackers Petition
Hackers is one of the best cult classics among nerds for it's ridiculous image of a hacker's life. Love the movie.

RE: Hackers Petition
You mean people actually liked that movie? I dont quite remember how old I was when I saw it...but I remember it was freaking ridiculous. All I remember is some giant floating head called the "mainframe" or something, and a guy with a laptop and a pink skateboarding or something being chased by a bald guy. Oh, and some kind of shower scene and the SWAT team.
Hackers 2 however, was fairly entertaining. |

RE: Re: RE: Hackers Petition
Yeah, I loved it too. But that might have been because it was my older brothers favorite movie, and I practicly worshipped him.

RE: Re: RE: Hackers Petition
It was a movie that was so bad, it was good. It was the perfect reflection of the media's depiction of a hacker (that's bad, but it gives real hackers and nerds a good laugh).

That movie is hilarious, it is a horridly innacurate depiction of the hacker community and everything it is based on. The only part I liked was where he imagines Angelina Jolie comin in... yeeeeeah

PS: I have this shirt: http://www.jinx.com/scripts/details....&productID=408 The rediculousness of the movie is what makes it so awesome. We watched it the last 2 days of AP Computer Science, I had to edit it and stuff, I watched it like 8 times in 2 days... it rocked.
