standalone flashplayer
so yeah been using sa flashplayer 8 and all is well when it's completely dominating the horrendous lag that ffr usually brings but it crashes like crazy and it's obnoxious. it crashed a few times, not more than once an hour when i first started using it, but it just crashed four times in a row not two minutes into four seperate plays of DT rabbit blood whatever festival garbage and its annnnnnnnnoying.
does anyone else have this issue? |

SA 8 seems to crash on me a bit too. 9 seems to be a bit more stable.

Re: standalone flashplayer
I personally would recommend 9 over 10 if you're playing FFR, but if 10 is working for you, then that's great to hear.

Re: standalone flashplayer
8 is fine here, 9 is unplayable and 10 crash all the time.
Really need to test them all. xD |

Re: standalone flashplayer
weird. maybe it just varies? i'm running windows 2000 so maybe that has something to do with it? 10 hasn't crashed yet since i've put it on. i'll let you know if it goes crazy though...

Re: standalone flashplayer
I haven't had any problems with standalone flash player 8. Honestly, FFR is completely unplayable to me unless i play it off a standalone, I honestly get like 10 fps if not less. Too bad i are teh terrible now.

Re: standalone flashplayer
Just in case anyone reads this or has issues of their own, here's my view of each:
8 crashes occasionally. works, but sometimes just gets a little ridiculous/aggravating. 9 is great. hasn't crashed once in maybe 1000 games since I put it on? no lag either 10 is the worst. doesn't crash, but after a few games it started lagging like nuts but it might be different for everyone so I guess just try 'em all |

Re: standalone flashplayer
Is there a version that uses 9 instead of 8? I have adobe flash 10.1 and the standalone 8 player, and it often crashes on me.

Re: standalone flashplayer
I've never tried 10, so I'm using 9, nothing bad ever happens, and with 8 I get random freezing. =/
