Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

Gods, it's been years since I last put something here. Regardless, that isn't the point of this! I was wondering how many of you have played Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon? And, as an aside, who was your Player/Partner combination, and how many individual Pokemon have you Connected with?

For example, my Player/Partner is Greninja and Blaziken, and I have almost 700 connections. I would have to clear this dungeon I'm in right now to give an exact number, unfortunately.

Edit: I have connected with 634 species of Pokemon, and 690 total Pokemon.

The Mystery Dungeon series is one of my favorite Pokemon spinoff series apart from the main games. I have very fond memories of the first two in the series. I also have Gates to Infinity and Super Mystery Dungeon, but I have yet to get around to playing them.

I played through PSMD, probably got around ~620 connections and restarted because I wanted to try something new. Kinda regret it since I'm only halfway through the main story right now lol

My first playthrough was Froakie/Fennekin, my current playthrough is Chespin/Riolu. Once I eventually get to where I was again I can start doing some rescues again so yeah I'll be able to take those when I get to it.

Also, if I were to give the game a comparison between the games I've played in the series, I'd honestly think it would go something like PSMD > Time/Darkness/Sky > Rescue Team. I do not have access to the WiiWare titles and I've yet to own Gates to Infinity, which I am really curious of how it plays. I can probably go a little more in depth of my thoughts later.

Gates to Infinity, while excellent in its own way...Was lackluster compared to Explorers and Super. The amount of recruitable Pokemon was lower than any other entry released stateside, and the only Legendary Pokemon you could get, to my knowledge, were Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldeo, and Meloetta.

Companion Mode was a blessing, though.
