wow u know whats funny so yesterday i had a dentist apponitment so i was absent then i come to school the next day and my 1st per. teacher says "sooo did u get halo?" and i never said anything about it,but anway i did not get it, instead i bought skate like a week and a half ago but ill read a bunch of reviews to see if its worth atlest $60

Played the last half of the game yesterday with my friend Richard. Took about 6-7 hours straight. Um wow. Let me go over some things:
1. Graphics - You can tell the difference from Halo 2 and Halo 3 graphically but this only in areas where it was expected. I couldn't tell if the normal mapping was good or not because the bloom coming off of the mapping blinded me half the time. A step better but Halo 3 is not as graphically stunning as it was touted to be. 2. Sound - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I've said it before and I'll say it again. From the sound effects to the scores to the last bit of music at the very end, AMAZING. I've always championed the Halo series for its music and such and Halo 3 did not let me down. 3. Gameplay - Erm, it's Halo 2 except new gadgets like the Bubble Shield and Portable Gravity Thing (don't know exact name) so I wasn't let down but I wasn't amazed either. 4. Story - I don't care what you people say, YOU GOT SCREWED OVER AT THE END. YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THE VERY END OF THE GAME ON LEGENDARY MODE? YEAH, THAT ENDING. Sucks huh? 5. Multiplayer - Still fun. Overall, while I did have fun with the multiplayer and liked some things about the game, I still stick to my previous statement and the say the game is overrated, just to a lesser degree. This game is the best of the 3 in the trilogy but when you compare them to the first two, that's really not all that great.

Halo 3 Forerunner question (SPOILERS!!)
Here's a quote from wikipedia (slight spoilers):
"According to the evidence scattered among the Halo games and novels, the Forerunners destroyed themselves roughly 100,000 years before the current setting of the games in an effort to contain the Flood, leaving behind a vast collection of their architecture and technology." Well, the game mentions that the forerunners are humans... humans are a singular species. Modern human beings haven't been around that long, no longer really than about 200,000 years. We didn't really become civilizations until the last ten thousand years! So uh.. how does it figure in that the forerunners are human? Keep in mind that the Forerunners destroyed themselves 100,000 years ago, so they were around developing culture and technology far longer than that. There are so many loose ends in Halo 3 it's ridiculous. Way to go, Bungie.

I was one of the people who bought the legendary, had it reserved a year ago.. and I was 6th in line to get it at midnight. XD

I bought 2 games when I bought Halo3.
I bought halo 3 at best buy on Tuesday, they had about 20 copies left. I also bought Tetris Evolution. I have already played more Tetris Evolution than Halo 3. To me, halo 3 is just halo 2 with more weapons. Though I would like to play with some of you people. My gamertag is lorddoom4. |

Ending run was fun, but without the timer like Halo 1 makes it easier and a little less fun, but it was a fun ride nonetheless.
