C'mon now, the trill isn't that hard.

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
I am finding it to be a bit more manageable, but it's still awkward for me. I think 80% of the problem is mental. As long as I focus primarily on hammering UD steadily, I just need to force myself to occasionally bring my other fingers down for the L/R ****. If I focus PURELY on the U/D trill and let everything else miss, I AAA it almost every time (that is, I get all perfects and a bunch of misses from the stuff I ignored). So the hard part is just integrating the two and keeping steady, for me. Rest of the file is easy peasy.

I'm actually kinda happy I got eliminated, granted that I would have made it through blue rose, I wouldn't have enjoyed this round one bit. Probably would've just ended up with a broken wrist and nothing but regret

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
I just graduated from uni over in Philadelphia -- going to be working down here. I'm staying with my uncle currently who has lived here for a long time now.
I kinda want to go scope out UT's campus... I hear Austin is also a great party town :P

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
I live about 2 hours away from Austin, that's why I asked. My best friend just moved in to his dorm at UT yesterday also. I wanted to go to UT, but my parents made me go to Texas Tech because they offered me more money
And yeah, from the little time I've spent in Austin, it gets pretty ****ing wild lol

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
Oh man, that is music to my ears. Where are some good places to go (if you know, that is -- if you've spent much time in Austin (although I know you said only a little (lol parentheses)))?

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
I don't partake in partying and such myself, so I'm no expert. However, 6th Street is infamous in Austin for being THE partying/drinking/music place to go.

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
Getting screwed while partying and drinking is better than DOMINATED while partying and drinking, at any rate!

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
Hey guys...
I've gotten three runs where I had an AAA into the main trill area. Once I figure out the pattern I'm misreading...I might be able to get anywhere from an AAA to like 5 goods. |

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
Go go go!
Where are you screwing up? Most of the stuff leading up into the trll is pretty straightforward, although the jack-into-LR trill is kinda annoying.

Re: 5th Official FFR Tournament - Round 7!
I am like completely backwards from that lmao. I can nail everything after the UD trill and before it, but I **** up the UD trlll itself.
