Anybody live near the Oklahoma City area? I want to meet up with someone from FFR eventually lol. I also don't mind driving either.

Re: meet up?
Over 4 hours to both Leawood or Manhattan ks. Although feel free to come over. Me and Rebirth are usually doing some kind of nonsense and there are plenty of beds in my place.
I'm willing to help pay for gas, I just don't really want to drive 4 hours. |

Re: meet up?
4 hours isn't far at all for me. I could definitely manage something like that. Would I have room to bring my shitty dell?

Re: meet up?
I assume it isn't a laptop? I technically have all the room you could ever need because it is a 3 story house with just me and my brother (and rebirth). Although there are only 2 computer desks in my office room. Could connect anything to do the tv and use it from the couch though. I use my computer like that all the time.

Re: meet up?
Usually that other desk is occupied by me. But we could perhaps work something out.
We'll also see if other people would be interested |

Re: meet up?
Well I'm definitely down if you guys open your home up to others. Just let me know in advance. so I can plan accordingly. (I hope you like to drink as well)
I'd like to also note I can go drive 6 hours out from where I live.

Re: meet up?
About 5 hours driving if you go I-35 the whole way. Not terrible. And its Kansas/Oklahoma so you could go 90 like I do on those roads
It's always funny how fast everyone goes from Kansas City to Manhattan. Even the semis are going 80 - 85 |

Re: meet up?
8.5 hours from Oshkosh, WI to Kansas City isnt that bad but I'll be pretty busy with work and my final semester of school until the end of May probably. Would be cool to actually get to a SM meet up I agree though and I'd be definitely interested in the future.

Re: meet up?
There is a high quality ITG machine a few miles from where we live, but it only has ITG1, 2, and 3 simfiles. Me and Izzy are considering adding songs to it next time we go.
Stepmania on either of our computers runs incredibly and we both have thousands of simfiles. Name some things you'd care to do and I could tell you if there is something similar around KC. |

Re: meet up?
I could record the experience on my rebel t3i as well.
SM sounds like a lot of fun along with ITG. It's been over a year since I have played. Do you guys have PIU?

Re: meet up?
if I come to a meetup I could bring my pad setup. its only one pad obviously but its an Omega ITGX w/ platform and regulation size (roughly, within an inch or so) ddr bar
pic: http://puu.sh/6GJd3.jpg not quite the same experience as arcade but its easy enough to break down and transport Last edited by Wafles; 03-27-2014 at 01:03 PM.. |

Re: meet up?
Would be cool to hook up some metal pads to my computer and play from my 65" tv. I think there is a enough room to make it work.

Re: meet up?
Anytime I ever went somewhere I was able to throw clothes and shit into a backpack. and I was just fine.
The best course of action is to see if there are people in your general direction that would be willing to go. Those people meet up half way or where ever, and then you can split the gas costs and take one car from there. |

Re: meet up?
4 hours of driving is like 30 bucks for me. Not that huge of a deal...I could drive straight to Kansas without going half way or anything.
