Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
Meh, that sucks. All the costumes and units for females/hunters suck from what I've seen so far.

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
Yes, it will evolve regardless of what attributes you put into it, but you should try to focus on making a pure mag with only the stat you want.
I didn't bother doing this and just fed it all the weapons I found so I have an unbalanced piece of shit mag, but whatever. I might respec it at some point. |

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
The more I hear of this game the more promising it sounds.
Really would like to know if there's been any progress on a solid unofficial English patch, because I really don't want to work through pages and pages of moonspeak (tried it with other games, I'm just lazy)

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
I keep hearing that there are people working on it, but then I also hear that it is impossible because of game guard. Which would not let you connect if the files didn't hash out correctly so changing anything would prevent you from playing.
At any rate I am still having fun and I have pretty much memorized all of the menu's. I just don't know what all of the properties of specific things are. Only the important ones. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58437091/4f...4e7b000000.png Here is a link to a guide for mag evolutions. And here's a picture of my three mags. One for each class. I plan on getting my ranger mag to be the ability group of the ability category and my force mag to be the tech group of the ability category. |

Why does your hunter mag have a bunch of tech levels?

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
It has 70 s-atk, 50 ability and 30 s-def. The third from the top is the t-atk. You generally want a pretty good amount of ability because it makes your damage more consistent. Not entirely sure on the calculations or anything, but this seems to be pretty standard according to pso-world.com.
I think it might be something like ability is your minimum damage and your classes attack is your maximum damage. So by having them be fairly even you will have more consistent damage. |

edit: from what I've read on PSO world, pure mags are what most people go for, but I can't be arsed feeding my pokemon furniture all the time just to prevent it from leveling ability since that stat helps me out anyway. edit2: the level cap order is ****ing painful. drops are rare as hell, I'm at 60/90 naberius and amduskia and I've been level 30 for an entire day now. edit3: is there any endgame content at all in this game btw? I'm a little concerned over the "durr level 40 now what do I do" posts Last edited by StoneMcKnuckle; 07-24-2012 at 08:19 PM.. |

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
There's no real end-game content as of yet.
All the weapons/units/mags are really weak compared to what will come out in the future once the level cap is increased. (Asides from maybe the 9999 damage assault rifle) The story stops at a weird spot - Shion (The person that gives you the matterboards) won't give you the sixth matterboard even though she is ready to hand you it. Edit: The 9999 damage assault rifle (Credits to Layne) Kind of a spoiler if you haven't unlocked Tundra yet Last edited by Evnoir; 07-25-2012 at 01:31 PM.. |

Also hype for the new area that's being added in August (and the swimsuits :J) They're apparently bringing the Tuna sword in lol (Used this in PSP2i with Luka) I just now noticed the new Wild Pony hairstyle is actually Shizuru's hairstyle from PSP2... I hope they add Nagisa's hairstyle at one point. Last edited by Evnoir; 07-26-2012 at 03:39 AM.. |

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
I hope that once the game is more completed with the max level cap that there is more of an endgame. There really isn't anything at the moment and that's why I'm not really bothering with investing in gear.
The game by itself is fun to me so I'm just leveling the classes and talking with people. Edit: Evolved my ranger mag to the one I was hoping for. I think I'll do 65 r-atk, 65 ability and 20 r-def. Last edited by Izzy; 07-25-2012 at 08:52 PM.. |

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
The number on the left is how much strength or attack power or whatever required to use that weapon. The number on the right in the parenthesis is how much of that stat you have. So if the right number is bigger than the left, you can use that weapon, etc
also WHY ARE OUTFITS ****ING ALMOST A MILLION MISETTA |

Re: Phantasy Star Online 2
Normally, I would say it's because it costs real money to obtain it, but it looks like the male outfits go for around 50k at most... hmmm...
It's hard for a lady to look pretty in PSO I guess lol Inb4 bikinis go for a million meseta Edit: The lowest prices I've seen for a yukata: Green-500k, Purple-520k, Red-980k. How in the world did you get it for 450k... Last edited by Evnoir; 07-27-2012 at 03:32 AM.. |
