I just made it to Inferno with the WD and I want to try getting a pet build to work because I'm bored of Zombie Bears and Splinter Darts. It'll have to be for multiplayer, because a solo build is near impossible imo. For now I'm farming for relevant equipment.

Try CC stacking maybe? Chance to stun/freeze gear + pet spam works for most packs, I've heard.

Act 1 mobs make sense. They are like, interesting but don't feel stupid.
Every single thing in act 2 has something annoying about it. Decievers can go invisible, just like half the enemies in the desert can burrow under the sand. The little fallen guys and the desert imps have the "teddy bear AI" where they just run around like lunatics and you can't tank them/control them well. Most of the construct mobs in the ruins and in Zoltun's place have the "constantly flee" AI which is really annoying. The plagued dudes erupt in poison after you kill them, which is at best a total waste of time before you can loot/pass by and at worst an incredibly infuriating death.

The of course the ****ING BEES don't even get me started on the bees.

I was doing alright with bees actually. I only died a few times, until the palace, where I died to deceivers probably 20 times before figuring them out to a degree (still die a lot).

Now my problem is more or less...having to go through elite mobs with shield and ultra speed and reflect damage and other BS because of the tight corridors in the ruins. Occasionally you can bait them to move or change positions, but there was this one elite mob that sounded like a bunch of rabid dogs...they just piled onto me instantly at light speed with shield and there wasn't a damn thing I could do. They moved faster than I can vault even with the passive speed boost. The moment I respawned they immediately came and jumped on me again. Had to restart the game. =/

They either need to seriously nerf the damage these things do (over 30000 damage/hit @ 3000 armor seems a *bit* excessive) or ban particular combinations of elite abilities so I can at least potentially kite them. At least before Act 4. General rule of thumb for this act has been if kitable, it's killable. If not, I'm instantly dead.


At least I hear farming act I will be better after the next patch. Maybe I should just play my barb till then and then coop my way through the rest of inferno after :P

Tried the deal with switching regions and enabling SMS notifications, no luck. Apparently Blizz just doesn't want me to make 250 on that ring :/

datamined patch notes, of note is the projected IAS nerf. Worth knowing about if you're selling/buying some gear in the next few days.

IAS on Quivers appears to be unchanged, I checked a few (including Dead Man's Legacy) and they retained their pre 1.0.3 values.
