I think I said this somewhere else recently, but when I was little I would pee my pants all the time because I was afraid to use public restrooms. Once I got used to it, I was a complete freak about them. I'd put about 5 layers of toilet paper on the seats and spend about 5 minutes washing my hands. I was very careful not to let my clothes touch anything. Yeah, I'm over that though. |

I only really wash my hands before dinner and whenever I'm in a public place.
I can be fairly un-hygenic at tims, instead of showering i cover my stink with deoderant (this desn't happen all the time) But washing your hands every time you piss is normal, but nothing over than that is.

I always wash my hands after going to the bathroom, just because. I also will go wash (well, rinse usually) my hands if I get something on them, ESPECIALLY if it's sticky. And yeah, I'm pretty sure just rinsing actually decreases the cleanliness value by removing protective layers made by the body but not killing germs, but whatever.
And yeah, I've heard that girls' bathrooms are by far much worse. Anybody who has had to clean both guy's and girl's public bathrooms can atest to this. In private bathrooms, though, guys would probably have dirtier bathrooms, because girls tend to care a lot more about their personal stuff being clean (but apparently don't give a rat's ass about public property). Jewpin and Guido (I think he said the clean penis thing...), I would like it very much if you could like, show a source that you get this clean penis/clean urine stuff from. Somehow I doubt your statements a bit...

I wash my hands EVERY time I go to the bathroom (without exception), before and after I prepare food, and after washing dishes, actually. I'm not super-concerned with it- when I wash my hands, if there's no soap, I just sort of scrub my hands and clean them the best I can with a paper towel.

I think the fact that they call it a bodily "waste" made it hard to comprehend that it's actually really clean. However, it does say that bacteria get at it after it comes out, so it's not sterile afterwards. THAT leads me to believe the penis isn't as clean as people have said, since there is bound to be some urine on it that has bacteria all in and whatnot.

This reminds me of a show I watched about public bathrooms, and the piece of paper thing you put on the toilet that's supposed to help with sanitation. They took bacteria samples of peoples butts and their mouths. Overall the butt had barely and bacteria on it, but this one guy's mouth was dirtier than his butt.

Because there are more bacteria in your mouth, it could be more sanitary to put things in your mouth than up your butt. The bacteria would dissolve any unwanted substances and make them safer, in theory. Q |

I always wash my hands after using the bathroom or after doing yard work/playing outside(like volleyball in my back yard). I don't cook, so I don't wash my hands before that, but I usually wash my hands before eating dinner because I usually am outside before eating.

I'm glad the poll is 34 to 4. I thought it would be a lot worse. Unless people are lying.
