that can work for people like all of us who are already dedicated players, but the whole idea here would be to cater to new players. if I were just getting into the game, I would be less motivated to play if I had to

1) go through menus on every play to adjust the rate setting
2) listen to music on tranquilizers

our community has the ability to fix this problem. whether or not we ever make it a priority, that remains to be seen. there really is no reason to cater to new players if no one gets introduced to SM/FFR. currently, that's the way things are.

OK. I've just gone through this entire thread post.. I've gone to many sites in the past and obtained my packs. the 2 i would suggest which is a collaboration of Pad charts and Keyboard charts all ranging in Easy to Hard crap.

First site is DivinElegy Because if you know the songs your attempting to download or just wanna see if there is a chart for it (Bad idea imo because you will hate your self if its either way to easy or just plain and stupidly hard as heck.)

Another site is a collaboration of packs. I don't know the name of this site as its a File site. if that makes any sense. I'll post links for you, if nether of these sites don't help you i'm sorry but at least i tried

(PS: I suggest if your going through DivinElegy to stay away from Gay for Gimmixs 1-3 as thos are rather hard to play.)

Simfile Revamp

also, I would stay stick to pad files for the time being. Maybe shoot them the ITG packs since they're a bit more intricate than DDR shit.

any easy pad charts should do the trick. it would be nice if some easy keyboard charts existed, though.

they do (play my floating through time file in ffrcp4 nig) but you just have to dig for them. that's part of the problem, though.

forgot about that thread but the fact remains is that there isn't really a pack dedicated to easy keyboard files to my knowledge other than stepping stones if that ever gets finished

that's just a repackaging of already released files in packs, cmon now. i mean yeah it's a pack of easy keyboard files, but i was referring to singles or unreleased files in particular.

say, there are more blue stars in that list than I thought there would be, whoops! although some of those are pad packs.

but yeah, agreed with fission. there aren't many packs focused specifically on easy charts/files, and it's tough to make those packs accessible and obvious to new players. like honestly I think they would have to come packaged with the game in order to be as effective as possible.
