Re: Virtual Reality headsets
The HTC Vive price has been set at $800. I'm not surprised at all.

Re: Virtual Reality headsets
I guess I'll follow how this product will go and it receives enough positive feedback I'll pick it up. It's kind of strange they went with USB 2.0

Re: Virtual Reality headsets
All I can think of is porn in 4D. Seriously though, VR is amazing stuff and it excites me that progress is being made on this extraordinary piece of entertainment.

Re: Virtual Reality headsets
I realized I don't really play the best VR genres like races, flight simulators, FPS shooters or horror games. Lol hopefully VR lets me enjoy genres I enjoy as well

Re: Virtual Reality headsets
Maybe I should do the same. I can't decide. I wish there was only 1 option or 1 was obviously superior in all aspects.
I should probably just get neither for awhile as I have a boatload of expenses right now. Last edited by Izzy; 05-20-2016 at 10:13 AM.. |

Re: Virtual Reality headsets

Re: Virtual Reality headsets
That's not a very huge reach at all Snapps, the last two at least. I'm sure there will be cases of prolonged use, but it will not be hard at ALL for google to have analytics based on eye movement, analytics on what the focal points of ads are, etc. In fact I bet it will be ingrained into every ad they put out if they can manage it. Why wouldn't you want those stats, as an advertiser?
A lot of that kind of analysis already goes into market research so it seems natural really. On another note I tried google cardboard at my brothers house, pretty cool, not bad for the cheapo rig that it is! Still had a lot of fun with it for what it is.
