Default Dealing with Legs seizing up

I played DDR the other night (I hadn't play in a while, just Stepmania) and halfway through the song my legs began seizing up. Anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?

Make sure you treat it as exercise - stretch your leg muscles before and after you play.

Another thing is - start your DDR session with easy songs you know you can AA. That way you kind of ease into the game. It's like a warmup before exercise. I find Look To The Sky on DDRMax works well for this...at the arcade I use Butterfly
