Re: Legacy?
"Unprofessional?" Nobody is paid to make the game's charts, and I think it'd be silly to pretend otherwise.
Microsoft won't advertise Windows 95 because they want everyone to buy five copies of 7. On the other hand, old versions of Linux distributions are widely available. Whether for compatibility issues, educational purposes, or just to mess around with, archives aren't being trashed. Kinda took that analogy a little far, but y'know, I just don't see what makes throwing stuff out a good idea. |

Re: Legacy?
yeah, some of those songs are annoying, but they have their own genre. tbh, there are so many other songs beginners can play, so downgrading their experience is probably a stretch to call it that.
re whimper wall: bit different of a story. it was a computer-generated gimmicky file that didn't belong in the game. fun for a little while. Different than the FFR files created w/ notepad

And analogy includes "in my opinion", and i chose it because Microsoft doesn't advertise it because it's not what best represents current Microsoft, and Linux has models and archiving for simply that, archiving and messing around. Hence again, not entirely removing them from the game *See OP
