Quigly Needs A Tablet
Yerp. So with the holidays coming up I decided that I needed to get myself a tablet. However, I have not bought a tablet before, which is why I need you fellas to give me some recommendations/tips and whatnot.
While price really isn't too big of a factor, keep it within reasonable range. Go crazy~

Re: Quigly Needs A Tablet
bamboo is too restrictive and not good
intuos is a great tablet to start with, you learn the basics and the advanced settings all at the same time. and you don't want to go too big, especially if you aren't going to use it all the time |

Re: Quigly Needs A Tablet
in general, anything wacom is decent for a tablet, whatever kind you get
doesn't have to be one of the tops |

Re: Quigly Needs A Tablet
Wacom intuos 4 med or large, good quality/price
they are like 350 and 470 respectively. not small just beacse the size is fast to grow out of, and drawing you usually use elbow motions or at least not stay fully with just wrist, gets uncomfortable. and its 220, so med/large is not that much more, for like a lot more area. wouldn't consider getting a cintiq for a first tablet, just because you might not actually like the idea of tablets after trying one, but if you are sure then go for it, i am trying to get one of those myself actually.

Re: Quigly Needs A Tablet
uhh wtf no it won't. I've had the same tablet for like 7 years now. The original Wacom Intuous 9"x12". They're ridiculously well made and should last you years, if not decades haha.

A good choice my fellow. Intuos are very nice and it should serve it's purpose excellently.
