Re: How'd you start FFR?
FOTBB = Flight of the Bumblebee.
Friend introduced me to it. At the same time, I was looking for an "online version of DDR." She beat me to finding something.

Re: How'd you start FFR?
Its like many people who observe FFR at first and are aw struck at its capabilities.
What I've noticed is that many people have started due to Arch0wl's FOTBB song's "impossibility". I quoted that because at first I'm sure many or all of us thought that that was impossible to complete, not even to PA well, but to simply complete.

Re: How'd you start FFR?
I bumped into my friend at the computer lab.
He was playing Beethoven Virus, and got a 200 combo with one hand. I was awe-struck; how could anybody possibly do that? So I started playing.

My friend was playing it, I was like, is that DDR online? She was like, no it's FFR. I was like, what's FFR? She just gave me a look like I was raised on another planet. xD

Re: How'd you start FFR?
A old friend who I rarely see now, Eyoshi, got me to start playing, and I really never quit since he got me to start a little over 2 years ago. But I have taken a few breaks.

Re: How'd you start FFR?
I saw someone playing it during my Chinese history team meeting. I didn't pay much attention to it at first. I went home to test it out and found it was pretty fun. I kept playing "easy songs" like dance 2 this It was fun so I kept playing and started to play multiplayer too

Re: How'd you start FFR?
No, you certainly weren't. And that was back when I played one-handed. :P
I was introduced to this game by a friend a day after he found out about it. After awhile and a six month break, I started tapping arrows a bit. |

My freshman roommate in college showed it to me. A few friends and I were hooked on it for a month or so, but then they stopped playing. I think they were intimidated that I could pass hellbeat lol.

Re: How'd you start FFR?
TheSeventhSign (currently banned for an eternity) introduced me to the game, and I was instantly in love. I actually knew about the site in April of 2006, but I had dial-up, and it wasn't advantageous for me to start an account at that time since I couldn't play.
A couple weeks after I started college in Fall 2006, I was bored and it dawned on me that I should play FFR. Signed up at the end of September, and it's been awesome ever since. Slowly working my way up to the higher ranks, so watch out for me. |

Re: How'd you start FFR?
A friend introduced me to this site way back in June of 2005. My account was DevorteMasterNum1, but that was just meant to be a game name so I don't use it anymore. I found out about Stepmania about a month later on this site. Stepmania really helped with FFR, it got me to AAA Thinking Different before the color change my first time ever screen cutting, back in Oct. 2005.

Re: How'd you start FFR?
I was at my cousins and she said "hey wanna try something out?"
I said "sure ok what do I do?" she said "just push these arrow keys at the right time" and I was like "what?" She chose Terror from beyond, I failed the first and second time, signed up, tried for a third and passed and then tried to full combo it and did so on the fourth...and it all went off from there =]
