The alternating 24th-16th patterns in eradication - are those bs or correct? They feel so weird.

No they are, just done in a strange way. He's layering to the guitar, but my impression is that he ends it a bit early, which probably leads to the awkwardness. You can also take a look through old batch notes - jimerax points out that the guitar is 24ths.

should ask blu for the detail, but those 16ths on guitar aren't 100% right like you said.

iirc only some of beginning 16ths are correct (middle parts shouldn't have any 16ths).

Just played Bloodmeat. Holy **** what an awkward file, I would have stepped it so differently xD.

down/up = vocals

I've always wanted to step Sequoia Throne, but I don't have the song. Somebody really should step it, though.

Yeah, I've completely stepped Sequoia Throne but no matter how much I go over it, it still sucks. I think I'll just start over.

I don't think I could make a good Sequoia Throne file... I've got Blindfolds Aside ready for the next batch; Kezia seems to be a more steppable album on the whole. Bone Marrow could work maybe? I'm starting to get tired of this whole syncing thing though lol

Yeah Sequoia Throne and the like are hard to step. Add that to the syncing difficulty and it's not very fun. I think I'll stick with Limb from Limb, that seems like a more steppable song.

Oh, and Blindfolds Aside better be awesome.

it borrows concepts from DSoK and Bloodmeat... it turned out fine IMO but I also really like the song so it'll probably suck if you dislike PtH (6+ minutes of song, including the acoustic last couple of minutes)

Yeah they should be 24ths but that was too hard 'back in the day' so we avoided the framers and tried to keep some of the PR. It plays basically the same anyways. I mean, 330 bpm stream is some bs (unless you're the one with the guitar and you've got 6 fingers to use and it basically equates to a roll).

The middle part has 16ths that go to drums.

P.S. I used to have 32nd and 48th rolls in "Pulling Through" and I took them out because they sound like buzzes and jx told me to put them back in calling you out buddy.

Oh I also would have stepped Bloodmeat differently but it's neat to see such a RB inspired chart, even though it is a tad awkward. lol 15/16

I remember you sent me a version for me to review, but when I saw it, I didn't even know where to start haha. It was pretty complex.
