The reason people hate furries is not their fetish. It's their annoying sense of seeking attention and trying to justify themselves at all costs.

Look at this user's sig. It explicitly states "I am a furry". Who the hell do you know who openly tells the world their fetishes?

I'm sorry, for alot of the things I have said on this topic, but you do have to realize that Furries (People with Anthropromorphic animals as there personal character) are not really bad people, you just make them out to be. If you hate furries (Wear animal suits and hump people) then you go ahead, but don't just automatically hate a furry (People with Anthropromorphic animals as there personal character) because of some dumb steryotype.

I don't care about the artwork. It's shoddy and horribly drawn, but there are plenty of other Western-art-only fetishes out there.

I don't care about the avatars and signatures. As long as it's not hentai, I can't ban you for it.

I don't even care about the fursuiting. Hey, if you want to drop hundreds of dollars on what is essentially a halloween costume, be my guest.

No. I care about the attention-whoring kids. Kids who run around proclaiming that they are a furry. Kids who run around trying to justify their fetish. Kids who can't live until everyone understands that furryism is just as normal as BDSM.

As a fetish, it's just as normal. But you don't see sadists with "I'm a sadist" in their signature.

Even if you don't consider it a fetish (which it is), it's still roleplaying, which is also disallowed on our forums.
