ITG Beginner Help
So I recently discovered there's an ITG at this arcade I never knew existed in this one mall I go to.
Now, I'm a complete noob when it comes to pad, and I wanna be a not noob anymore. Anybody have any links or advice to give about loading songs and such? What pad files to play etc.? |

As to what to play, if your a "noob" then play what the game offers. Songs that have an Expert chart (even if you don't play Expert) are usually decent versus songs that only have Hard charts. |

Tips on playing:
-Don't move your feet back to the center. Keep them on the panels until you need to hit something else with them. -Alternate feet. Only break this rule when following it would tie you in knots (e.g. if you tried to do LDRUL) -If you mix up down and up, imagine this: <V^> . .^ <. .> .V .^ <.> .V -Don't stomp harder than you need to. Unless the pad quality is ****, the slightest of taps will set the receptors off. The less you exert yourself, the further you can go. -Have lots of water and a towelette if you intend to play for a long period.

Re: ITG Beginner Help
Patashu covered it pretty much, but he forgot to mention the importance of flat footing. Don't play on your tippy toes or any other variation of that where your feet aren't completely flat on the pad because you exert too much energy trying to balance yourself.
Also, stay as close to the middle of the pad as possible. If you're playing on some good ITG pads, the inner sensors of the panels surrounding the middle one are enough to register your taps. No need to flail your legs all the way near the edge of the pad just to hit arrows, which also exerts a lot of energy.

Officials and Rebirth. Dont worry about other stuff because theyre usually 12+s or songs that most people find annoying.
