TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
TWG LXXXVIII: Manti’s Metroid Madness
Norion had been calm in recent months. Space Pirate attacks were at an all time low ever since Samus had dismantled their operation on Talon IV, yet... something was amiss. Admiral Dane couldn't help the feeling that he was being watched by enemy eyes, even from his own desk. As he burrowed his head deep into his hands, rubbing his eyes with his palms, a pool of electric blue eased it's way back between the crack of the wall and floor, dropping into a lower room. With a soft splash the pool reformed into a Dark human looking figure, before shifting to match the uniforms of the Galactic Federation troopers she had seen on her way in. Dark Samus made her way to the cargo bay, dragging along two additional Galactic Federation troops Not long after she had both of her minions dressed in GF armor. Deciding a little chaos would help their cause, the three made their way to the metroid research lab, silencing the technician and scientist working there. Pointing her blaster at the cages, Dark Samus released three metroids upon the facility to further complicate things. Team Good Samus Aran - Guardian – Samus comes equipped with her Varia suit, and several modifications to it. The Galactic Federation has been able to equip a modified PED deceive onto the Suit. As such she may activate it once to protect herself (self guard) from any non phazon attacks. (She may only guard against one attack per night) Gandrayda – Morph/seer – Gandrayda is a shape shifter. Her morph abilities make it possible for her to interact with other teams. DURING THE DAY she will select a player and become that player for the course of the following night. If Gandrayda selects a wolf, she will become a wolf for the night, and has a proportional chance of affecting who the wolves kill. If she targets the MW with her power, she will become corrupted and join the wolf team as a slave (resulting in a loss for Gandrayda, regardless of who wins). Can become uncorrupted by being attacked by the metroid team. Gandrayda does not get a player's PED suit when she morphs. Rundas- Metroid (sk) Bane – Rundas’ strength comes from his arsenal of ice weaponry. He can easily freeze targets at will preventing them from performing their night actions. If he targets a metroid (sk) with his attack the metroid will freeze midair and fall to the ground shattering. Also has a PED suit. Rundas is also immune to metroid attacks, if he is targeted by the metroids, he will randomly kill one of them during the attack and he will survive. -Send a PM during the day targeting a player to freeze for the night 3 Humans 8 Humans with PED suits Team SCREEEEEEEE 3 Metroid Masons Metroids are hungry creatures that feed off of energy. Due to their adaptively they can feed off of Phazon. The metroids are a serial killer trio that function like wolves. They must attack 2 players each night however their kill can be satiated in several ways 1. If they attack anyone with a PED suit, the suit will auto activate to protect that person, and the metroids will drain the PED suit instead of the person’s life 2. If the metroids attack a corrupted human, they will drain the phazon from the human reverting them from wolf slave back to human. 3. If they attack Rundas, one Metroid will die at random and their kill will fail on him. The metroids will win and their kill will cease when they successfully attack the wolves’ Phazon Spawner. Since the spawner continually creates phazon, and the metroids continually eat, the metroids and the phazon spawner will neutralize each other This will result in a pacification of the metroids kills, however they will not be removed from the game The wolves can save the spawner by killing the metroids, and the metroids' kills will return if the humans kill the spawner. If the games ends while the metroids have a hold of the spawner, this will result in an automatic loss for the Phazon spawner, and a win for the metroids. If the Spawner dies before the metroids can successfully obtain the Phazon spawner, their objective will change to eliminating everyone Note The metroids kill is a proportional kill. ie if two of the metroids target afro and one targets makilaz there will be a 66% chance afro dies and a 33% chance makilaz dies. Team Evil – 3 players Dark Samus – Master (Wolf Guardian) Dark Samus is the physical representation of Phazon. Strong and cunning, being Samus’ Phazon based clone, she can guard her teammates from night attacks. Being Phazon based, she is also immune to Rundas’ freezing attacks, and Metroid attacks. Phazon Spawner – (Wolf converter) The Phazon Spawner is the wolves most important role. DURING THE DAY the Spawner will choose a person to throw phazon bombs at night. These bombs will automatically corrupt anyone with an active PED suit and turn them into wolf slaves (Autoloss for that person if the game ends with them being a slave, thought they will continue playing). If the spawner targets a person with a PED suit, the Suit will activate. If the player does not deactivate the PED suit during the night (pm the host) they will be corrupted. Metroids hit in this fashion will be unaffected. When the spawner dies, It will leave behind 1 bomb for each teammate remaining. Bombs will kill unprotected humans, but will not kill metroids/wolves Red Phazon Pirate Commando (Wolf Seer) Equipped with a scan visor created by Dark Samus herself, The Commando can pick a target each night to seer. He has a PED suit as well. Commando receives color and if the person has a used/unused PED suit Note The wolves kill is a proportional kill. ie if two of the wolves target afro and one targets makilaz there will be a 66% chance afro dies and a 33% chance makilaz dies. PED Suits 1. When active, they protect from any attacks that are not Phazon based. 2. If the player is attacked by the spawner’s phazon bomb attack, they will automatically become corrupted. 3. When inactive they still protect against metroid attacks. 4. If a player with a PED suit is hit by a phazon bomb, their suit will activate. The player must deactivate the suit by PMing the host telling him to deactivate the suit. Player List 1. pntballa18 (merlonifan28) 2. redherring (falseclues) 3. Clarinet89 (clarinet898) 4. A 3 in 20 chance of getting nailed with a normal human and I managed to get it. Weak >.< I think it is because Manti doesn't like me very much

It was a sad face...not a crying face...duh. Anytime I seem particularly active tho...I die, so who knows, lol. Make it two games in a row. Would I laugh? Maybe.

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
FROM NOW ON RUNDAS SHOULD BE CALLED THE 'ICE MAN' BECAUSE THAT IS WAY EASIER TO SPELL AND MORE AWESOME!!!!
When I first tested this idea, I spent a long time mulling over all the details and tried to find any flaw. I thought I worked it all out but I think I missed something: See I try to design/modify games so that an alliance cannot be formed right off the back and I thought this was the case with this game, but I think it think it could work. If Rhundas came out, he could be an alliance leader. He's immune to attacks from the metroids and if samus aran guarded him as well, he would be immune to wolf attacks. He has a PED suit but if samus is guarding him then there would be no need to activate it (I don't think at least). So since his PED suit should never activate, he would not be corrupted by the wolves. I think it could work, the only down side I see is that it helps the metroids a little bit because they would know to not attack him (since one of them would die if that happened.) But if ice man and the seer hook up, it could be a POWERFUL alliance since one of them finds wolves and they both can find metroids. Let's discuss this idea because I think it has a lot of potential. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
OHHH another benefit to this plan:
If the seer turns into a wolf, he could choose to wolf the ice man (assuming guardian is guarding the ice man) and that would make the wolf's kill have a chance to fail! And you could have the option of not killing that wolf and always turning into a wolf during the night and having a percentage of a wolf fail EVERY night. This idea gets better as I think more and more about it. |

Re: TWG LXXXVIII: Metroid Madness
here's a question that's been bothering me...do corrupted humans know they are slaves?
