Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Yes, because I could never possibly make a simfile that lives up to the amazing stargroup's expectations
Now please, shut up. If you actually knew how to judge something, you'd be a judge instead of me or jimerax. And people that are making SM packs would be flocking to you asking if you want to be a judge for their packs. You've made one good simfile, and its an FFR simfile. Its not enough EDIT: Psycho - Its a piano song. I'll send the mp3 to you on AIM flipsta - We probably won't ever finish it rofl |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
suggestion for jimerax or rebirth, from pokelda...
what are your thoughts on video taping yourselves reviewing a few files each batch at random? maybe 1 file that has serious sync issues, one that has a few issues, one that is technically accurate but just could be better still, and a file that's awesome. and have audio commentary explaining things while the file is going, to show others about the process and about what to fix up in files. pokelda's idea... thoughts? and if you want to go ahead and do that, i have no problems. you can upload to youtube or something and link into the vid database.

The easier way is.. preparing a few files (hopefully graded by quality, like what tass said), and we judge the files and comment on them in detail. Then releasing the files and our comments for public and everyone can check the files and our comments. |

@Smartdude/Rebirth: I have a pretty good stepchart written for {The Traveller}, but I never took the time to get the sync right. If one of you wants to sync it, I have a stepchart ready that you can chop out whatever you need and paste it with what you already have.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Hey dore, is it cool if we can see your stepchart then? We are pretty confident that we have the right BPM for every change, so that's my reason why I still want to continue.

jx: you, rebirth, and me can discuss it out and figure something out... but i know rebirth has a video cam, so he shouldn't have any problem doing this.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Yeah, I know you're just expressing your opinion. And I have no problem with people not liking steps for any of my simfiles, but with all of the bitching I've heard on AIM about you trying to judge peoples files, I had to say something sometime.
You don't need to start making 500 simfiles every week, either. You need to stop being so hypocritical and stop judging peoples files the way you do when you haven't made more than one or two good simfiles yourself. I admit you've got a lot of potential. Given the right songs, I know you can create a good stepchart, but 90% of the time thats not the case with you. Make some files in the SM community, and have some of the good simfiles of the SM community judge you. Once you start making good simfiles for SM 70% of the time, then I'm sure you'll be able to make a good simfile for FFR 100% of the time. THEN is when you would have the right to do what you've been doing |

I'd want to kick you in the face if that ever went into the game >_>
And I'll talk to you about the video judging thing over AIM sometime |
