Edited mine.. I realized I had Aperson rated higher than people whose sims I play all the freakin time.

how is reality on there for stream. stream i think of as "not jacks". reality is more like 130 bpm drills than stream.

hahaha. some of your sims are actually quite fun linus. the challenge isnt much fun on index, but its really fun on spread. so yeah, you might deserve to be on some lists.

Haha kidding. I don't have any top 10 lists as I have no time to really think of any, but here are my #1 favourites..
LADDER: Gotta be Reach's Reality. Go play it if you haven't..
Simfile Artist: This is REALLY tough. I like Toph's but only some.. I'd say Reach is my favourite - most of his are fun to play. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY BLOODY FLAWS HIS SIMFILES HAVE (and yes I know there are a lot) but they are fun to play, atleast for me anyways. As for BEST simfile artist, probably Arch0wl as he spends the most time and puts a lot more thought into his simfiles than almost anybody else. That's usually what delivers the best simfile.. (If you don't know what I'm talking about pay attention to the patterns he uses, especially in pad simfiles). As for.. best simfile ever? Gotta be Kilgamayan's Flash In The Night v1 (don't ask why, I just love it).

honestly, i dont think ive ever spent 30 hours on a chart. and he doesnt mean he started and finished 30 hours apart, with interspersed work periods. thats 30 hours of solid work. honestly, no one can compete with that kind of dedication.

unfortunately, heres where i see a problem.

no matter how much time you put into thinking about what patterns will be fun, and where to put steps, you still end up only having 4 panels to work with. thats a limited number of patterns. even with crosses and spins and double steps. so how i see it, is i can spend 10 hours on a simfile, and someone else can spend 1 hour, and they both will probably turn out similarly. thats why i try to not spend as much time as i can, and just flow with it. oh and plus, pad charts are easy as hell to write. unless youre writing a 11+ footer, theres really nothing to it. so i dont see how anyone can be commended for "good pad charts", cause anyone can write one.

Top Ten Simfile Artists

2. Privateer (ugh.. you're a punk for leaving SM)
3. Skor (Emerald, Otaku, etc)
4. Reach (fun files)
5. Arch0wl (some fun files)
6. aperson (many of his earlier files have patterns that are too choppy)
7. Eggman (simple, quick put together files that are alright.. nothing special though)
8. Cynic (a few classic files... about it...)

Ehh don't really like anyone elses... Moogy made fun stepfiles, but weren't technically sound and were nothing special. I especially enjoyed them when I was a noob. :P

I don't like Linus's, Duk's, pfx's, or Toph's simfiles. Hayden and evilpeer made a few kind-of fun ones...

btw can anyone recommend any simfiles that are like holy moon for me to play?
