Re: someone step my (trance) song please
To be quite honest, I wasn't bandwagoning. EQ, as mentioned before, was quite bad, synth usage was too generic and I wouldn't play it if it was on FFR, but that's just me

Uh, I zero bombed it to begin with because, in my opinion, it wasn't all that great. As others mentioned previously, bad EQ, it clips, generic synths/beat, etc.

Not too bad. I dunno how exactly it would be as a simfile, but it's nice to listen to. And lawl EQ, work on that a little.

Re: someone step my (trance) song please
Go back and try to fix some of the equalizing in the song. The structure of the song doesn't seem bad, but the synth is way too strong, which is giving the song a muddy sound. It's a shame because the melody sounds pretty nice.
Try adding some compression to your synth -- the abrasive sound of the synth itself is a problem, but putting it at full volume makes it even more of a problem. Everyone has to start somewhere -- don't let people get to you. |

I agree with TC about the critisism. FFR isnt the best place for public constructive critisism, just public critisism thats borderline trolling haha. Dont be discouraged. Keep at it!

Re: someone step my (trance) song please
thanks guys, i actually noticed the EQ problem before anyone responded and i fixed it for the most part on my computer, i haven't updated it yet though and yeah the trolling here is nothing compared to on that site. to be honest i wasn't expecting many responses to begin with.
