I know this has already been debated, but...

Just for the hell of it, I thumb-downed 5 random people. In return, I got five thumbs up without a comment. Really, it had no impact on their opinion of my profile, or me for being a dick.

It srsly needs to have a weight of -1 or something.

No one dislikes profiles, the only use for it is to anger people.

All it really does is remove your ability to give them a thumbs up. It's therefore worse than useless.

So? It's not like a thumbs down makes you lose one or anything. Only the person that was given the thumbs down can even tell.

Yes. They are pretty much how you update your profile, and how much you try to get people to give you votes.

I did alwayz wonder y I would veiw random ppls profiles n c this very common saying "hey I just checked out your profile and gave u a thumbs up. Hope u do the same for me." or "Give me a thumbs up and I'll give u one back" what is the purpose of persuading ppl 2 give u a thumbs up? It's not like ur gonna win something. I alwayz thought u should give someone a thumbs up if u actually liked their profile. The things ppl do 4 popularity...

I've been playing ffr for years and only noticed profile votes until a few days ago. But in the end, it's just another slow down before you start playing your games.

I've only really voted for about 70 or so people, all thumbs up, and I have so many profile votes. =\

I don't really care about them either, if somebody gives me one, I'm not giving one back unless I actually think they're ok.
