So I lied, I'm totally going to do this again. If only because the vast majority (if not all) believe me and as such I have no fear of doing something like this in this cute TWG. (Bonus points I can never die in the night, so hooray)

How this is going to work, ladies and gentlemen, is I'm going to go page by page (with 20 posts per page) and I'll supply a reads list as well as what my thoughts are on each and every single page. I'm going to treat this as if this is my first time reading through the thread (and it somewhat is to be honest), so without further ado...

As to Charu, I'll just reiterate again that it's extremely unlikely that he's anything other than what he's already claimed, because there's no payoff if he's a wolf or a serial killer. As soon as he's counterclaimed, his best case scenario is that the other person is mis/lynched first. If they flip bodyguard/asceticizer, then Charu would be unquestionably lynched the next day. It's not worth it for the wolves to trade a player (it very very rarely is), and it's suicide for the serial killer if he's counterclaimed on day 3 or earlier.

From the perspective of actual having that role, it was the right move for him to actually claim imo. The value of a confirmed townie is limited normally, because they're likely to be killed before end game, and its effect on the player pool is most limited early in the game (when there are the most players). However, Charu wouldn't be a normal confirmed townie; he's also bulletproof, which means that end game value is there so long as he isn't killed while bodyguarding. The loss of Charu as a possible night target is outweighed by his confirmation.

Okay I think I should ask if Pre has a meta formed yet. If not, then just off this post I feel really good about him. Are you the analytical type? Seems like in this post you like being slightly neutral in the sense you addressed what you saw from an innocent bystander point of view and that's something I'm keen on, especially early.

Right, so this is where I drop the bomb first thing because the role I had called for something of the sort.

inDheart being the first to make the shitpost sees the bomb, but instead of immediately flipping out or questioning it (or really just be baffled), calls it a "convincing case" when all I really did was just say what I was and told other PR's how to play this specific game. Of course in TWG there's multiple ways to interpret something, but I get the feeling here that his response was more of a reflexive action more than an actual genuine response.

How curious...

mellon is next to post about it. That's the type of response I was expecting. Call it bad, but this immediately makes me give her the town lean.

This applies to juckter as well, so in the town leans he goes!

Precarious does the questioning post I mentioned. So he's going slightly beyond the town lean, but still a town lean. Mechanical talk or not, his intentions here were pretty clear.

Haku comes in and makes the second shitpost, which honestly... I can't really read him due to that due to how he plays in general. So sadly I can't really say much here except I enjoyed the little shitposting session that produced afterwards.

...But wait, there's more, R.E. comes in hot and does the flip out response I was expecting, so another person I can give a town lean on, hahaha.

And wow, I think that's the most reads I ever gotten in a TWG right off the bat on the very first page. Here are the results!

Shush you. It's true that this was in the poke-hey-you're-a-person phase of the game but at that point a poor job was done and I'm still laughing that they chose Gradiant over someone else to begin for reactions.
