Re: halo 3 beta
Have fun waiting.
Edit: btw--frontpage of Digg Just checked, there are about 5,500 people on line. 5,499 of which can apparently own me in the game already. My, how that was quick. Last edited by rickz0rz; 05-16-2007 at 01:03 PM.. |

Re: halo 3 beta
yeah Brandon the multiple preorder I think is a good idea but only if you sell them soon after the launch. lol I still don't have a 360 yet so I, unfortunitly, won't be able to join in the beta. But, if anyone here has a PS3 with either R:FoM or CoD3 pm me I'd be glad to play you.

Re: halo 3 beta
Halo 3 was fun, I was really scared when at first it wasn't available to download still when I got back from school on Wednesday.
Halo 3 is fun, especially with the spartan laser, but even with all the new weapons and upgrades, it still has the Halo 2 feeling that it's all the same with some extra goodies, which is not a bad thing. Halo 2 was awesome nonetheless. It was cool that the mongoose made it, but it didn't seem different from the other vehicles, just looked cool. No tanks and banshees in this beta? The only thing I'm scared of is if they get too carried away with MP and screw up the campaign storyline again. But overall, it is an awesome beta.

Re: halo 3 beta
My friend has not gone to sleep in the past three days. He plays the beta all night long, then goes to school and takes final exams, then goes home and plays the beta.

Re: halo 3 beta
I played it yesterday at my friend's house. It's pretty good though. Graphics, awesome. ATV Mongoose, pretty cool and fast. I like maps Snowbound and High Ground. X button is now a special ability, if you have it, like the Bubble Shield or Portable Gravity Lift.
Spartan Laser takes a few seconds to fire, and the flaw with that is the infer red beam used to aim, because your enemies can see it. It's really powerful though. Bubble Shield is pretty useful from projectiles, but what your enemies can do is get inside your shield and kill you. That's what pissed me off. When you die, your Spartan character looks really STIFF. It only reacts with contact with walls and stuff. Still, when Bungie completes the game, everything will work out AWESOME!!! |

Re: halo 3 beta
The body being stiff makes sense because a normal body probably wouldn't be able to move the spartan armor at all and an enhanced person wouldn't be able to use it proficiently. So a dead body in a heavy metal shell being stiff seems reasonable.
The beta is awesome. I have a feeling that this will surpass the 2nd but still won't be good as the first. |
