Just bought one. Hopefully it will be in Monday or Tuesday. Once I get it, I will add you to friends or something if Strava has that feature.

Btw, I'll use account instead of nix since it's really my first.

Strava does have a friends feature and a newsfeed to boot. It's free as well!

Sounds like a plan. I have switched to aggressive paced walking over jogging, and I've injured myself too many times (paraneal tendons oh my!) and living downtown makes it a little tricky and dangerous given the time of day. I'll still go for runs if I make it to the park, but it casually like to go my distance.

Here was a high pace walk I did the other day, and I had to stop running the GPS because my battery was about it die. It's about another 2.5-3 miles back home from where I cut off

I am in the same boat of having injuries. If I wanted to start running again I would have to spend around $600 for proper footwear and insoles, as well as braces, in order to be able to safely run again. I would also have to start by walking an obtuse amount until my knees and feet stopped tweaking out before I'd be able to start running. :C

Im also riding the injury S.S.

Tore the ACL in my right knee in gymnastics in january, looking to have surgery in may/june. Im getting fat and feel very unconformable not being able be active. I find my self scooting now because my knee cant take a full hit from running, feels like its going to buckle.

Pfft running.

I have pretty bad IT band syndrome and haven't been able to fix it. Used to like running (albeit not nearly as much as lifting) but I can't run for more than 10 minutes now without being in agony.

No other activity does it to me so I haven't done much PT for it. Was told I was highly susceptible to it anyway because I'm extremely bowlegged. Shit out of luck I guess.

Can still sprint though, and I'm pretty fast (~12 second 100m if I'm in condition).

It really sucks that so many people have some sort of injury. I've seen your lifting stats reach. Very impressive.

Ran a 11:28 for the 3200m at an invitational on Thursday. PR'd by about 40 seconds!
