One thing I want to know:
Why the hell is ABCDEath above 10? (I was randoming between 10-12 and don't know what it is. lol) it's like 350 notes long, and the whole thing is like a high 9.

lol I got 3-0-0-3 on it sightread and I am not even a good player. It's not a ten. That's for sure.

hmm... yea, it was easy to sdg.
I think that's why I went for the aaa way back then.
But, what I remember having tons of trouble with were the off-beat(not off-sync) notes. the ones that were not 8th or 16th notes. It took major concentration. And, the 8th triplet trill with jumps was incredibly difficult.
When I was trying to aaa it, I could not even read that part. I would just trill and hope for the best.

I feel for ya, I understand and everything, but I don't think just because it has sentimental value it should be a ten.
Though, on the other hand there DO need to be some easy 10s in this game I guess.

Hmm... I think I am putting myself in this. derp.

Anyways, yes, we do need some easy 10 up in herr. On that note, freakin 'Bus Rides With People' is hard as balls.
The difficulty system seems pretty alright, though.

But, in the eye's of a noob, everything seems fucced up.

I remember when 16th roles at a 150bpm would kill me, because it was tricky. I would miss the notes and boo myself out because I didn't hit them at the right time.
Those were the days... were you could actually lose in ffr.

Heavenly Spores seems a little far up the list in Arcade. It's a lot of streaming, but that's really about it. I think it belongs before Night and Day.

ABCDeath is a pretty easy 10, but I don't think it should be changed to a 9 at any point.

Yeah... it's relatively easy to combo or hit, about as much as low 10s or high 9s, but when it comes to PAing, that chart is just brutal. It shouldn't be moved down.

Honestly Night and Day needs to move the hell up, we've said this many times, it should be right behind Mario Minor or Starwolf IMO. It's really freaking tricky.

I'm really annoyed by spending so much time trying to find Heavenly Spores. I've looked in arcade, I looked in the shop. I scrolled through the songs, I typed it in search, I changed engines. Heavenly Spores is not there.

Veteran-only songs should not be in the public ranks. I assume this was just a mistake on your part, jx.

veteran only songs should have the [veterans only] tag until it's released to the public. All you would have to do is change the title in the xml. But I do think it should be in public ranks. Getting an early release is useless if the score doesn't mean anything.

It still means something when it's in the token ranks - you get to play a song other people can't. Having it in the public ranks hurts the avrank of people who don't happen to be veterans, and if you have a regular release of veteran-only songs, those people will always be a little behind on avrank, which is just unfair. Avrank is supposed to be based only on your abilities.

In the old days there were regular subscriber releases (pretty much every song was subbie-only at first) and people were able to have fun and discuss the new charts while still giving everyone else a fair chance.
