Yep, I was kinda wanting to see if anyone had had calc.
For the follow up the answer is only zero if you choose the integral's principal value. Principal value meaning that you choose to have the contribution from the right and the left of the integral reach zero at the same rate. Consider breaking up the integral into two pieces, one from the left to zero and one from zero to the right. Now it's obvious we have -inf+inf which isn't well defined unless we know at which rate the two pieces reach infinity. It was kind of a trick question, which is why I said it was harder. I'll also quit posting problems that require higher level math than (and not including) derivatives.
