Nothing wrong with making money off something you create.
Something very wrong with artificially slowing down human progress and development in the name of greed. Patents support monopolies. Medical and technological patents were foremost on my mind when posting it. |

THIS. I really thought I was the only one with this pet peeve lol. My father quite often uses the microwave and always leaves time left on it when he heats up his food. And everyday I'm the one that has to clear the timer. It gets really annoying after awhile.

Re: Top Five Pet-Peeves/Annoying Occurrences
People with biased views that aren't their own, but what they feel they must believe in because society leads them to pursue them. And there's nothing you can do to at least enlighten them due to the fact that "they're right", "it hurts their feelings if you say something wrong about their views".
ie: religion. but, spiritual views are the least of my peeve, this goes beyond that. "I can't say if that man is good looking because if I do that means i'm gay" "only girls do that" "only guys do that" "only ____ do that" the whole idea of discrimination towards a specific subject disgust me. I can understand preference, but when you go out of your way to degrade something is what peeves me. And then if you complain when someone does it to you, when you do it all the fxcking time, oh man oh boy oh man oh boy, aren't you a keeper. don't be a little bitch when you know you're a hypocrite. also lag. hate that shit

Re: Top Five Pet-Peeves/Annoying Occurrences
1. People taking photographs of you without asking.
2. People who jump up to go to the bathroom or to get a snack during a movie (especially in the middle of a build-up in a horror movie). 3. Someone wants to bring up an amusing anecdote SO BADLY that he/she interrupts a conversation others are having. 4. When two or more people stop for eachother in tight traffic. 5. That look you get when you tell someone you listen to classical music. Things I thought of minutes later: X. When old people use slangwords (I've heard "bullshit" come out of a 72-year-old, and that's in the Netherlands) X. Companies making a rap for presentations to appeal to da kidzzz (this could easily be #1 actually)
