An easter egg in internet explorer?

i recently discovered this easter egg randomly from a friend.

windows creators put an easter egg on the www. area. in short it worked. do what this says and you will see the easter egg

1- copy and paste this on notepad so you can refer to this while doing this.

2- copy this and post it in the www. bar

res://shdoclc.dll/wcee.htm

and go to the site and it should be blank

3- right click in the blank area and click on " view sourse " and it should open notepad and it should have text in it. in the text look for

if (DecodeStr("gurjPRR") != window.name)
return;

highlight and delete that after wards click on save as and save it as

wcee[2].html

4- right here you only have 30 seconds to find where you saved it and open it. it will take you back to the same blank page. if you have a pop up blocker click " temporarly allow popups " and it allows some of the staff names and who helped to create the program. ( it comes and goes fast ) the easiest way to see it is to right click every new title that comes up and there are 3 intermissions in it.

CONGRATULATIONS

you have now discovered the infamous windows internet explorer easter egg.

A stupid easter egg for a stupid browser.

Not flaming you, just the easter egg.

If they were smart they would have put in a link that would send you to a page to receive 100 dollars, because people should be payed to use Internet Explorer.

There's no way anyone could have done this randomly and come up with that. It was probably released somewhere as a bug and was never fixed.
