Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
Well the thread sorta gives all the details so if you want in just say -in and we'll work a deal out I've sketched one myself now but we'll see how it fares.

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
In.
tho, I probably wont be able to provide 'a lot' of sketches, depending on what -lot means. Do you want it in any specific format (w.e. you prefer to work with) What range of size are you looking for. and lol don't pay me credits please. not saying that I will just dish out 2 min craps just because I don't really gain anything physical(lol credits, physical?), but yeah, even if you did, it will just sit there unnoticed. I am assuming the request because you actually had a reason that is better than 'I like free drawlingz'. ps. ds your dragon looks fat, diet plox.

The size does not matter much, anything with restrained proportions will do, draw on a 800x800 sheet? Just make sure you've seen through the details on first page. As for how the dragon looks, you're the one drawing so you're free to make him as you like but I'm aiming for the 'epic' look of the sketch on the first page. For what it's worth, whoever draws the sketch will be credited in my class portfolio. As for 'a lot' of sketches, 5 is good, 6 is perfect: Head, front Head, side Body, front Body, side Head, 45' degree. Full dragon in a scene. I lol'ed at "physical payment.. CREDITS?". I can get you a subby though.

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
This would be a candidate head design, I tried drawing, but just couldnt come up with anything that looks doable, so I decided to doodle on zbrush ._.' quiet effective for fast/clear ideas imo. The large scales are like pieces of armors, not really like skin scales, so I guess it wont mess with texturing too much? btw this style will be applied throughout the body as well, still wondering about body type, might do another zbrush raid. edit: i think i am doing zbrush wrong, but ohwell, clay is fun lol. edit2: blame ds kthxb ;o

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
Haha nice dragon, not as fat as DS' is xD I like it, real problem is just getting a sketch I can use as background/referance for my dragon.. I just finished a lowpoly one to test and I decided to try put him in a scene.. It didn't really work.. Anotomy was OK but he looked like.. a cat?

lol ..cat?, Take a ss(or some) and I will improvise what you have into sketch, which will be easier for me, and probably keep more of what you wanted to see. ps. yes zbrush is probably one of the coolest programs to exist. but they srsly need to have a better crash handler, or better, just rid of errors with tool switching/mode switch glitches that cause very bitter crashes :/ .

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
drawing something is one thing drawing something to 3Dimensional consistency within 3 different views is another.. and i suck at symmetry, I don't think isometric view is possible for me by hand, not enough experience/can't picture it clear enough lol :/, btw: can i nominate myself for page-stretch master 2009?

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
No, I'll nominate you! XD
That's good though, any chance you could submit cleaner edges? Like just draw a layer with 1 line over it so it's not so rugged.. But that's exactly what I'm looking for! Nicerdicer.

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
for reference use lizards and stuff especially for the head. i used a kimono dragon as a reference. makes everything a lot easier when you have something that looks kinda what you're going for

Re: Would YOU do drawing requests?
Rene I don't think I've ever had ZBrush crash, in fact I kinda marveled at how clean and bug-free it was lol.
And sure just blame me for everything. Strange looking dragon btw, really uhh...bumpy xD |

and yes Dr. Tran spoke wisdom here. look at lizard heads. ds, how do I go on with life if I hadn't find such a great scapegoat as you. ps. fish is fish, more muscle plox, and yes my dragon is bumpy, when i say rough draft, what i really mean is ROUGH draft.
