MLP plushes
Why the fuck are they so expensive
All the plushie makers will say "oh it's about the work and craftsmanship" and some will even say it's the cost of the material But 500 fucking dollars for a plush toy that's barely a foot tall? No. I've heard that a good quality one takes under 25 hours to make, and minky fabric (used by most of the "best" artists) is usually less than $15 a yard. Here's an example http://www.ebay.com/itm/Handmade-cus...71226390625%26 I still think it's that the artists are good at taking advantage of middle-class bronies with ever-so deep pockets.

Re: MLP plushes
I got one of those jumbo sized Ugly Dolls once for around 50. Even that was more than enough to spend on such a thing.
These high bids might be trolls though. |
