Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
Salitz has been moved to D5. He was someone that had relatively concerning stats before, but his current performance on both current D5's song and D6's past/current songs (mid teens on Weapon, holy christ, and 0-0-1-5 on Pussy Pump) in addition to a number of mid/high FMO SDGs has made it pretty much impossible to keep in D4.
He obtained a score of 1-0-0-0 on Undiscovered Colors prior to being moved into the division, and I have honored that score in the dashboard after moving him. The elimination cutoff will be extended by one person as well. EDIT: also, I expect people to not take this opportunity to nominate others to be moved out of certain divisions, as some of these people have rightfully worked very hard to increase their skill for the tournament without intent of hiding skill (as you all know as sandbagging). |

Weapon is awesome, it's a shame it falls too far from my comfort level cause i'm loving it, and has a great flow throughout the whole chart Gj kommi!
(As a result it should also feel easier for you PrOs)

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
Weapons is extremely easy to AAA (nothing really hard, just long)
but engines are making it impossible to play. R^2 and R^3 play ok but after like 2 minutes, it does that spontaneous skipping shit then goes into nonstop skipping. gf.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
remove me from the tournament. I'm not going through this bullshit lag again. Can post a vid about it after class but 4 minutes is too long for this shit to get an actual run.
it's been nice but I don't have the patience to see if it fixes itself.

Okay, Kayla, you have to wake up and realize one day, that just because something is easy for you, regardless whether it's your strong skillset or not, doesn't mean it should be rated lower. You're advancing in skill very heavily as of late, so you should really not deem to low. I agree with AJ/OWA on UC. NOT because I "AAA'd" the file (with one day miss due to fuckin hell lag) but because it may be a smooth file, but it definitely proves it's own difficulty. Example: 70 - Bogey at your Six 70 - 300 70 - Blue-Violet 70 - PianoCore 70 - Romance in the Club feat. Liquido 70 - Stately, Wrong 70 - Starry Sky (TANUKI BOOTLEG) 70 - Futsuu No Uta 70 - Pokamen Party 70 - Face in the Gutter 70 - Nix-Tek 70 - Crowdpleaser v2 Those are the 70's, and honestly, I feel that UC should be a 69. My choice |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
She's not the only person that finds it easy, and it's understandable why. Those that argue the file higher can mention that the file is very complicated in terms of rhythmic structure, making it difficult to be consistent on. On the other hand, others can argue that the patterns flow really well and are easy to get around, despite the density.
Patterns like this: are patterns that I intentionally put in to cause some scoring issue, yet they are surprisingly easy to hit for some and problematic from others: take a look at different replays from people in that same spot: Also, she mentioned that it felt low in her opinion earlier, so there's really no need to delve into schematics because she knows and feels that it's an opinion. As I mentioned before, it all comes down to what you're good at and the skillsets you have compared to the file you're playing. I personally feel like UC should stay at 70, and I have a solid skillset when it comes to bursty patterns, haha. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 02-6-2013 at 10:03 AM.. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
UC can be easily scored on by hard tapping because it doesn't punish the player from overextending stamina and you can always recover. I can understand why it would be considered hard under normal circumstances. If the patterns were more stamina draining the chart would be a ton harder. At least I think it's fine for a round 3. Lag will compensate difficulty~
Edit: Thanks lag~ Edit v2: This may be a 69-70 after all.. it has potential to be fairly annoying to AAA. >: Last edited by Hakulyte; 02-6-2013 at 10:25 AM.. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
I tried flash player 11 (on the schools Mac btw) and when I start up a song it starts at the end of the song for like a second and thinks I finished the song, not that big of a deal but is this a known issue?

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3!
From what I've seen posted, sounds like I'm lucky I haven't experienced any lag issues *knocks on wood*
side note: I love how every single round so far I've gotten 1-0-0-0 LMAO, I have terrible nerves when it comes to getting a AAA on anything |
