Dell Inspiron 6400 is pretty beast. Rosewill RK500 Black USB is also good but it's no longer produced

I bought the cheapest wired usb keyboard available at my local computer store when I started playing FFR. It's a Microsoft comfort curve 2000: cost me $10 and my first one only lasted a year, which is kind of sad. The J key just totally blew up in the middle of a song. Bought it again and it has been giving me joy ever since

I use 3 different types of keyboard for different situations:

Kensington Slimtype = Overall use (I use this 90% of the time)

Silicon Keyboard (Not sure what type) = Boosts my jacking/trilling speed by ALOT but MA suffers

Razor Lycosa = MA

At the moment though, i have to use this bulky one since I'm at parent's house lol

I'd recommend the Kensington Slimtype to anybody looking for an FFR keyboard. It's pure awesomeness. Very low-profile and crisp keys.

lol you noobs and your flat keyboards. Mechanical keyboards are the way to go, they're phenomenal. Even though they're not flat, they actually have better response time than flats, last even longer and their clicky sound is orgasmic. Yeah they're a bit more expensive, but trust me, it's totally worth it. I had a dramatic increase in skill because of my mechanical: http://www.daskeyboard.com/ That's the one that I use atm, but I'm giving this one to my dad and getting a razer blackwidow

Yeah I know, it's called bandwagon, that still doesn't mean it's the best keyboard out there. If one of the top players played on a mechanical keyboard, their skill would increase by a LOT. Trust me dude, I went from toml 48p, to an sdp due to a mechanical, I know what I'm talking about.

I actually have a mechanical kb, they are pretty nice kb's but I do worse on it compared to slim. Most likely the fact because it is bulky keys and Im not too much of a fan of them. lol

It really all depends on the player and their preferences. Some play on bulky kb's all their life then they try a slim and do a lot better and say they are the best. It just depends on what is most comfortable for the player to play on.

I have one of the best mechanical kbs (HHKB). Typing with it gives you orgasm but it's not very good for rhythm gaming..

Not all mechanical keyboards are the best, it matters on (as Plan_B said) the player and their preferences.

So if you get a certain score on a mechanical keyboard it automatically makes that keyboard the best.

Mechanical keyboards are the best because they last longer than flat keyboards and their response time is better, not just because they make me get better scores.
