Default Discrimination (poem)

(There weren't normally spaces inbetween every two lines. I just did that to make
the poem easier to read.)

I'm different from everyone else,
More than they will ever know.

They spit out insults daily,
I take it in stride usually.

Stupid, freak, ugly,
And so much more.

It's all i can hear,
It's all they can say to me.

I act as if it doesn't phase me,
When sometimes, it really does.

All there's left arround me are hateful things,
And no one seems to understand.

Just because I dress differently,
They call me names.

Just because I don't act like them,
They talk about me behind my back.

I'm different from them,
And they hate it!

They spread rumors,
And oozing lies.

Well here I am,
Still standing tall!

Take your chance,
While you still can!

Nows the time,
Take your best shot!

Try to break my spirit,
Try to shoot me down!

You won't succeed,
You never do!

I still stand strong,
And soon it'll be my turn.
